This meeting Commemorating of the Palestinian Nakba was held at the Embassy of the State of Palestine. The Lebanese Communist Party’s “Speech” was delivered by Comrade Khalil Salim:
Dear Comrades – Honourable Audience:
The Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration – and the establishment of the illegal Zionist regime as a result. This resulted in the Nakba of the Palestinian people in 1948 – and the Genocidal War that we are witnessing today – both committed by the murderous fascist Zionists. The Anniversary comes at a time which confirms the tragedy and disastrousness of the Zionist-supporting conspiracy. The British generated the conditions which allowed Zionism to inflict its fascism upon Palestine and its people.
The crimes, massacres and atrocities committed by the fascist Zionists violate all international, humanitarian and moral norms in the land of Palestine. The valiant Palestinian Resistance confirms the depth of the Palestinian people’s affiliation, their rootedness in the Palestinian land, their attachment to the cause, and their insistence on continuing the struggle and striving to achieve their goals of liberation, independence and return.
We affirm our standing and at the front of the ranks to defend our Palestinian people, and we pledge to you that we will remain loyal to the cause, for the blood of all the martyrs and the comrade martyrs of the Lebanese National Resistance Front, until the liberation of all of Palestine! The banners of struggle will remain flying high, in the face of the Zionist Occupation, until the establishment of the Palestinian Democratic National State on the entire Palestinian territory!
Greetings to the struggle of the Palestinian people and their valiant Resistance, as we appeal to the hands of free people across the world and even in America, especially the Student Movements in universities, which have been victorious for Palestine, its people and history!
Glory and eternity to the righteous martyrs!

الشيوعي مشاركا في لقاء بدعوة من الهيئة الاهلية للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني وقضايا الامة لمناسبة ذكرى النكبة

بدعوة من الهيئة الأهلية للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني وقضايا الامة شارك وفد من الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني، ضم الرفيق خليل سليم عضو اللجنة المركزية والرفيق سعيد حسين مسؤول منطقية بيروت الكبرى عضو اللجنة المركزية . في إحياء ذكرى نكبة فلسطين ، في سفارة دولة فلسطين ، وقد القى كلمة الحزب الرفيق خليل سليم وجاء فيها:
الرفاق الأعزاء الحضور الكريم
تمر ذكرى وعد بلفور ، وقيام الكيان الصهيوني المصطنع كنتاج وتداعيات لنكبة الشعب الفلسطيني عام ١٩٤٨ ، وفي ظل حرب الإبادة الجماعية التي نشهدها اليوم، والتي يقودها هذا الكيان الغاصب ، على يد ما تسمى حكومة العدو ، الصهيونية الفاشية القاتلة .تأتي الذكرى لتؤكد على مأسوية وكارثية المؤامرة البريطانية الصهيونية على فلسطين وشعبها. وما يرتكبه هذا الكيان الغاصب من جرائم ومجازر وفظائع تخالف كل الأعراف الدولية والإنسانية والأخلاقية على أرض فلسطين.
ان المقاومة الفلسطينية الباسلة تؤكد عمق انتماء الشعب الفلسطيني وتجذره في الأرض الفلسطينية والتصاقه بالقضية وإصراره على متابعة النضال والكفاح من أجل تحقيق أهدافه في التحرير والاستقلال والعودة
اننا نؤكد عل وقوفنا و في مقدمة الصفوف للدفاع عن شعبنا الفلسطيني ،ونعهادكم بان نبقى أوفياء للقضية، لدماء الشهداء جميعا والشهداء الرفاق في جبهة المقاومة الوطنية اللبنانية جمول، حتى تحرير فلسطين كل فلسطين، وأن تبقى رايات النضال عالية، في وجه الاحتلال الصهيوني، حتى إقامة الدولة الوطنية الديمقراطية الفلسطينية وعلى كامل التراب الفلسطيني، ،
تحية إلى نضال الشعب الفلسطيني ومقاومته الباسلة ونشد على أيدي الأحرار في العالم وحتى في امريكا لا سيما الحركات الطلابية في الجامعات، التي تنتصر لفلسطين وشعبها وللتاريخ
