An Enlarged Meeting of the 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held on June 16th, 2023 at the Headquarters of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the Plenary Meeting!

Members of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea – Members of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea – Alternate Members, and Members of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Alternate Members participated in the Enlarged Plenary Session.

Officials from the relevant Departments of the Party Central Committee and the Cabinet, People’s Chairpersons of Provincial, City and County People’s Committees, Chairpersons of Provincial and Rural Finance Committees, and Officials in charge of Ministries, Central Organs, and Important Factories and Enterprises are observing.

Members of the Politburo of the Party Central Committee were elected to the Executive Branch.

The 6th and 7th Plenary Meetings prepared the ground for 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee – including the implementation decisions for the first half of 2023 – the business situation of each sector, (including the economic sector), was comprehensively prepared. The strengthening and development of the Party was paramount in the discussion, together with National Construction in relation to the changed International situation. Political issues of great significance in the ongoing development of our Revolution – such as issues regarding National Diplomacy and National Defense Strategies – were also discussed and decided.

At the Plenary Meeting – the Proposed Agenda was approved by unanimous vote.

The Plenary Meeting entered into discussions amid high political awareness and enthusiasm held by all participants – who will shine this significant year – which is key in the implementation of the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea! This has been a year of great change – a great leap forward – that will be noted as such in the history of the country!

조선로동당 중앙위원회 제8기 제8차전원회의 확대회의가 6월 16일 당중앙위원회 본부에서 열리였다.

경애하는 김정은동지께서 전원회의에 참석하시였다.

조선로동당 중앙위원회 정치국 상무위원회 위원들과 조선로동당 중앙위원회 정치국 위원,후보위원들,조선로동당 중앙위원회 위원,후보위원들이 전원회의 확대회의에 참가하였다.

당중앙위원회와 내각의 해당 부서 일군들,도,시,군인민위원장들,도농촌경리위원장들,성,중앙기관,중요공장,기업소 책임일군들이 방청하고있다.

당중앙위원회 정치국 위원들로 집행부가 선거되였다.

전원회의에서는 당중앙위원회 제8기 제6차,제7차전원회의 결정집행을 위한 2023년 상반년도 경제부문을 비롯한 각 부문의 사업정형을 총화대책하고 당의 강화발전과 국가건설,변화된 국제정세에 대처한 국가외교 및 국방전략에 대한 문제 등 우리 혁명발전에서 중대한 의의를 가지는 정책적문제들을 토의결정하게 된다.

전원회의에서는 상정된 의정들이 일치가결로 승인되였다.

전원회의는 조선로동당 제8차대회 결정관철에서 관건적인 뜻깊은 올해를 조국청사에 특기할 위대한 변혁의 해,비약의 해로 빛내일 전체 참가자들의 높은 정치적자각과 열의속에 의정토의에 들어갔다.(끝)
