This Master of traditional and modern dance (both ‘Chinese’ and ‘Western’) – is the loyal Chinese citizen known as ‘Jin Xing’ (金星). This lady is known by the Honorific title of ‘女士’ (Ru Shi) or ‘Woman Scholar’ – a great designation of respect within Chinese culture! Biologically born in a ‘male’ body – Jin Xing wanted to be a ‘woman’ from the age of 6-years old and finally underwent the full transition in 1995. Jin Xing (Kim Song) was born in Northeast China to ethnic Korean parents – and during 1985 – as a serving PLA soldier – she visited France to celebrate the founding of the Communist Party of France. During 1986 – Jin Xing – was part of a PLA Delegation that visited the DPRK to celebrate the birthday of Kim Jong Il. Later, after studying dance in China – Jin Xing travelled to the US to study Western dance – before returning China.
‘A “LGBTQI+ Film Festival” will be screened in China’s Guangzhou province. This film festival is jointly organized by the Consulates General situated in Guangzhou of 15 countries – including the Netherlands. The organisers are very happy (and honoured) to invite famous Chinese dance artist (and host) #JinXingNuShi! To celebrate this develoment – Jin Xing has recorded a video!’
