Bulgaria Myth Perspective

Bulgaria: The ‘Revival Process’ Myth [1984-1989] (6,7,2020)

This has been part of a Turkic ‘Islamo-fascist’ offensive which has seen a ‘pan-Turkish’ nationalism advocating the ‘supremacy’ of the Turkish race and Turkish religion (this is sometimes seen operating in the terrorist attacks carried-out by Uyghurs in China). One ridiculous US-Turkish allegation is that the Bulgarian government ‘forcibly’ tried to inflict Bulgarian names upon ethnic Turks between 1985 – 1989. From a Socialist point of view, this makes no sense whatsoever.  This is so ludicrous that even Wikimedia (which usually has no problems publishing all kinds of US disinformation and anti-intellectualism), has ‘drawn the line’ at the at the ‘Revival Process’ myth and removed the relevant page to a ‘discussion’ section stating that there is a problem with authentication and objectivity! At least this is the case in the Bulgarian-language pages of Wikipedia- which are a mine-field of neo-Nazi glorification, US Disinformation, US anti-intellectualism, US pseudo-history and plain lies. The Turkic people were never oppressed in Socialist Bulgaria (and forced to change their names), but Turkish fascism spreading from Turkey, may have caused minor problems from time to time.

Brushing Away Capitalist Greed!

UK: Buddhist Concept of ‘Bahujana’! (20.2.2020)

The Buddha believed that his ‘Dhamma’ was the answer to all of the suffering experienced by humanity, and like any revolutionary medicine, he instructed his followers to ‘spread’ the teaching (freely) far and wide! The Pali Suttas mention enlightened laypeople – both male and female – with the Buddha stating that there is no difference in essence between a monk and a nun, and a layperson. The concept of ‘Bahujana’ – according to Buddhaghosa’s interpretation – should be defined as the ‘unconverted masses’. Therefore, the ‘Bahujana’ are the multitudes of humanity (and other life forms) which have not yet come into contact with the ‘Dhamma’, listened to its teachings or had a chance to put its methods into practice. The ‘Bahujana’ are ignorant of the ‘Dhamma’, and out of compassion, the Buddha ordered his followers to travel in all directions to spread his teachings to as many people as possible! Buddhist philosophy, therefore, is not ‘elitist’ and does not support clannishness, one-sided practice, or the exclusion of others. Buddhism also rejects all types of fanaticism and extremism a being manifestations of greed, hatred and delusion. Furthermore, from a close reading of the Buddhist Suttas it is clear that the Buddha was of the opinion that his teachings would only find fulfilment when voluntarily accepted by the ‘Bahujana’, who are to be convinced through logical argument and personal experience.

Two Catholic Nuns Discovered in Embrace!

Brazil: Grave Discovered [in 2008] of Two Catholic Nuns in Loving Embrace! (20.12.2019)

Sergio Monteiro da Silva of the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at the University of Sao Paulo, who took part in the excavations, does not believe the nuns were buried together.

“The second nun probably died years later and, during the burial, the first was pushed to the back,” he told the Folha de Sao Paulo.

Mr da Silva said the mummification process had probably happened naturally thanks to good ventilation and low humidity.

“There are no indications that the nuns were mummified,” he told Globo News.

Tests have been done on the bodies and archive research is being carried out to try to identify them. Ms Marino said she hoped the public would be able to view the bodies later this year.
