Blogger’s Note: This is a substantive article full of meaning and importance. Anti-China racism in the West (you know who you are) is multifaceted. China, and “Chinese” people – face a plethora of abuse at all levels and strata of society – with much of this racism not only completely unopposed, but quite often dressed-up in official language and fully supported by the media and establishment. This creates a psycho-physical environment of out and out aggression and hostility to every Chinese man, woman, and child. Even other non-White groups get in on the act – and whilst siding with their White oppressors – throw their weight behind the abuse. The excuse for tis racism can be physical differences (old fashioned racism), cultural differences (a refined racism), and political differences ( a racism that is in denial of its root cause – “If only you were not Socialist – and all this would go away!”). I have lost count of the number of Taiwanese Chinese who have acquired US citizenship, fought in the US military, paid US taxes, and joined-in in the US demonisation of the PRC – only to be refused promotion at work, and found that other (White and Black) US kids refer to their children as “Ch’nks”. Many of these US-friendly Chinese even convert (to an “alien”) Christianity – only to find other “White” Christians do not want them in or near their churches. Really? Well, in the cut-throat market-place of international business, the innovative Chinese workers often generate – through their Socialist education – remarkable advancements in medical and technological understanding, with the Western powers at be “stealing” these ideas by falsely suggesting that the Chinese people “stole” these ideas through “spying” or some other nefarious activity. This process has only got worse with the election of Trump, the persecution of non-Whites, and a general shift to the right of the US political climate. I know we are ALL suffering – but Chinese people are suffering on a layer above what we have to put-up with. This is me being oppressed: “Dr Wyles, can you justify your continuous pro-China output?” Me: “Yes – if you’d like to check this reference and that reference you will find my work to be a fair appraisal of the existential situation.” Them: “Oh, sorry to have wasted your time, Dr Wyles, have a nice day!” Chinese people, however, are placed in darked or lightened rooms that are hot o cold – for days on end, and refused food and drink – whilst the Western authorities investigate whether they are “Communists” – or their parents are “Communist”. So what if they are? Indeed, every loyal PRC citizen should be a card-carrying “Communist” – and we in the West should celebrate this fact (we can compare cards). Besides, it is a fallacy to suggest that if Socialism ceases in China – anti-China racism will end throughout the world. The Soviets were told in 1991 that if only they give-up their collective resistance to US aggression and war-mongering – the West will greet them with open-arms. Just look where that has got the Russians and Ukrainians (not to mention Chechnya, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, etc). Whenever you meet an ethnic Chinese person please be aware that no matter what their personality represents in the world – first and foremost they will be a victim of White racism. Start from there – and try to perpetuate some type of random act of kindness to undue all this hatred. Perhaps with all these pebbles – an avamche of change will occur! ACW (24.1.2026)

BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) — China has established a comprehensive support network to address the growing challenges faced by Chinese businesses expanding overseas, according to a press conference on Friday.
This system integrates regulations, advisory services and information services to assist companies in navigating intellectual property (IP) disputes in the global market.
A key part of these efforts involves implementing the State Council’s regulations on handling foreign-related intellectual property disputes, which took effect in May 2025. It provides a legal basis for taking countermeasures when foreign countries use IP disputes to unjustifiably restrict or suppress Chinese citizens or organizations.
“These regulations offer enterprises with a clear legal pathway to defend their rights overseas,” Guo Wen, a senior official at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), said at the press conference.
The CNIPA, the country’s top IP regulator, has also expanded its assistance channels. By the end of 2025, the CNIPA had set up 99 IP guidance centers across 30 provincial-level regions and six industry-specific platforms for sectors like automobiles and solar power. To offer localized support, it has also established overseas outposts in 11 countries.
Additionally, the CNIPA has built a talent pool of nearly 2,000 experts in the field of overseas IP dispute resolution to support its network, which had handled over 4,800 consultations, addressing e-commerce IP conflicts and trademark squatting, by the end of last year.
To address the information gap faced by domestic enterprises, the CNIPA has strengthened information support by optimizing and upgrading a service platform, which integrates 1,470 laws and regulations from 189 countries and regions, as well as international treaties. A series of country-specific IP rights protection guides have also been issued, providing “one-stop” information access, Guo added.
Other endeavors include talent cultivation. Specialized lawyer training programmes are underway in collaboration with judicial authorities, while joint international IP institutes have been launched involving both Tsinghua University and Peking University to train more experts.
China has ranked top globally in terms of international patent applications for six consecutive years. However, foreign-related IP disputes overseas have become a major issue for domestic enterprises expanding abroad. A lack of information and limited response capacity have proved obstacles, Guo said.
