JOINT DECLARATION OF THE COMMUNIST AND WORKERS’ PARTIES OF LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN FOR THE FREEDOM OF NICOLÁS MADURO AND AGAINST IMPERIALIST AGGRESSION.
The Communist and Workers’ Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean, in light of the seriousness of recent events, denounce the blatant colonialist policy of the Donald Trump administration, which poses an imminent danger to all the peoples of Our America. Without any trace of shame, the US government has publicly stated its intentions to appropriate the strategic resources of Venezuela and of our entire continent, reinvoking the infamous Monroe Doctrine by asserting to the world that our sovereign nations are the backyard of the empire.
In the face of this serious and almost unprecedented situation in our history, we express our strongest repudiation of the bombings carried out, which represent a criminal violation of the sovereignty of peoples. We demand the immediate freedom of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, the fighter Cilia Flores, victims of the persecution and siege of Yankee foreign policy aimed at destabilizing the region by force.
We urgently call on the working classes of our countries and all progressive sectors to mobilize in the streets to repudiate these aggressions and defend continental dignity. We will not allow imperialist plunder and arrogance to determine the fate of our homelands. Out with imperialism from Latin America! Freedom for Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores!

DECLARACIÓN CONJUNTA DE LOS PARTIDOS COMUNISTAS Y OBREROS DE AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE POR LA LIBERTAD DE NICOLÁS MADURO Y CONTRA LA AGRESIÓN IMPERIALISTA.
Los Partidos Comunistas y Obreros de América Latina y el Caribe, ante la gravedad de los hechos recientes, denunciamos la política colonialista descarada de la administración de Donald Trump que pone en peligro inminente a todos los pueblos de Nuestra América. Sin ningún rastro de vergüenza, el gobierno estadounidense ha manifestado públicamente sus intenciones de apropiarse de los recursos estratégicos de Venezuela y de todo nuestro continente, reivindicando la nefasta Doctrina Monroe al señalar ante el mundo que nuestras naciones soberanas son el patio trasero del imperio.
Ante esta situación grave y casi inédita en nuestra historia, manifestamos nuestro más enérgico repudio a los bombardeos realizados, los cuales representan una violación criminal a la soberanía de los pueblos. Exigimos la libertad inmediata de Nicolás Maduro y de su esposa, la combatiente Cilia Flores, víctimas de la persecución y el asedio de la política exterior yanqui que busca desestabilizar la región por la vía de la fuerza.
Hacemos un llamado urgente a las clases trabajadoras de nuestros países y a todos los sectores progresistas a movilizarse en las calles para repudiar estas agresiones y defender la dignidad continental. No permitiremos que el saqueo y la prepotencia imperialista decidan el destino de nuestras patrias. ¡Fuera el imperialismo de América Latina! ¡Libertad para Nicolás Maduro y Cilia Flores!
