Dear Charles
This was not a full election and according to the numbers below – there was only 1,641 (out of just over 19,200) Council Seats contested in the UK (or just 8.5% of the total Council seats available). There has been talk of the Labour government deliberately delaying (and limiting) the elections – through fear of the outcome. The mainstream always supports and encourages the far-right as a barrier to any genuine Socialist movement developing. Then, when the far-right becomes too strong and threatens to achieve any real national political power – the mainstream pulls the supportive-plug and begins a character-assassination campaign. In the early 2000s, the racist British National Party (BNP) developed a surge in popularity and I remember them winning around “15” Council Seats – and this was trumpeted all across the British media. Now, my friend (Liz) was a prominent Civil Servant working in a high Local Government position. Being of Singaporean (Chinese) origination – obviously she was concerned about the BNP – but she explained to me that there are around 10,000 Council Seats and that at anyone time in the UK, there are about 100 far-left elected Councillors all representing various Socialist and Communist movements. The mainstream ignores these far-left and left (local) Councillors and never gives them the oxygen of publicity. Another problem is that this grassroots far-left and left representation is not united – primarily due to its democratic nature – being spread over a wide geographic area.
Reform UK is the brain-child of Nigel Farage – who has led many right-wing and far-right parties – all backed by shady millionaires, and all eventually turned upon by the mainstream. Why has the British establishment allowed Reform UK to achieve this? Gaining 677 Council Seats is remarkable in that it came from a foundation of “zero”. All these far-right groups must be pro-Israel and anti-Islam – and Reform UK is no different (the UK refuses to enforce the ICJ arrest warrants for the Israeli War Criminals). The Tories are being punished because they have allowed “non-Whites” to run the party on two recent occasions. As the electable party for White racists – the Tories handing their party to BJP-supporting (Hindu) Asians and Nigerian bigots did not go down well. Labour’s response to the recent civil unrest (perceived as imprisoning White rioters) has alienated the White working-class across the board. On top of this, mass immigration is being presented as overwhelming the country by the mainstream media (although not when it involves Neo-Nazi Ukrainians and Hong Kong rioters).
Reform UK won:
677 Council Seats (local). Although these 677 seats may equal 31% of the total vote available on the day (contesting only 1,641 Council seats) – over-all – these 677 represents only 6.77% of the total 10,000 Council seats available). There were 23 Councils (local authorities) being contested out of a total of 317 yesterday. Reform UK now control 10 Councils in the UK – or just 3.2% of the total Councils available.
2 Mayoral seats (regional) – out of the 6 being contested on the day. There are 26 Mayoral seats available in the UK – so this represents just 7.7% of the seats available.
1 MP (national) – bringing their total numbers of MPs to 5 out of a possible 650 (or 0.8% of the Parliamentary seats available)
On the face of it, this is not that impressive, certainly not in terms of genuine political power. Councils are weak but plentiful, Mayorals sound grand but can do very little independently, and Reform UK lacks the Parliamentary seats to change national policy. The question is whether this trend continues and builds momentum – or whether it is a flash in the pan and a shot across the bows of the traditional parties. The danger lies in this trend toward fascism developing. Usually, in the UK events like this represent a high water mark – from which the trend will recede. We shall see.
Below is a typical mainstream (bourgeois) UK newspaper – the Comments section reads like the far-right sections of extremist organisations usually banned and only viewable on Telegram. Perhaps the Comments might be censored outside the UK – so here are a few examples:

I hope the Labour Party respond to this by flooding the Lib Dem areas like the Cotswolds with boat people instead of dumping them on struggling White communities in the North and Midlands. Let the middle-class ‘diversity is strength’ types have a big slice of the cultural enrichment pie and have these people in their communities for once.
Make it so that it’s the Ed Davey lovers in their pretty villages and market towns who have to deal with their daughters being chatted up outside the school gates and I’ll 100% ditch Reform and vote Labour again.

Labour failed us, for over 50 years they’ve served Islam not the British people.
Grooming gangs, terrorism, hate, forced take over, Labour is neck deep in it.
The Tories, 14 years they’ve failed to clean up Labour’s mess and worse allowed a non British person to lead the party not once but twice.
Labour needs to stop serving Islam, sack starmer, remove khan as mayor of London, stop the boats, deport people who shouldn’t be here and allow an investigation to even stand a chance.
Labour isn’t going to do any of that. Reform will do that if not most of that and British people want change.
The Tories need to go after Labour, put a British man or woman in charge.
The only one of the 3 top parties that hasn’t failed us is Reform so give them a chance I say.
We want our country back, never Labour nor the Tories will do that, but maybe Reform will.

Time for a new general election. We need President Trump style deportations of every illegal immigrant. That’d be the housing crisis over, the NHS sorted, less waste fraud and abuse. Glad I’m Cornish and not English!
Thanks
Adrian
