Author’s Note: There is talk that the UK government is considering changing the law regarding social media posting. This is not new – compared to the relative freedom individuals possessed 24-years ago whilst posting upon the internet – today’s stifling of expression is positively Nazi-esque in nature! The capitalists have colonised the internet and built pay-walls around virtually everything. This has turned the internet from a vehicle of infinite (free) education – to a vehicle of infinite advertising and profit-making. Free-speech is bad for business as the wrong kind of message (politically left, right, or centre) can hinder the effectiveness of an advertisement and lower profit-making. Any attempt to construct a political movement through social media has been targeted by the political and business Establishment for many years now – removing a post here and banning an individual there.
The new narrative will be that sanitised reality which is advocated by national governments that unquestionably support US foreign policy. This will be the only narrative allowed throughout social media – as it is the spread of the “preferred” politised message – this currently includes the unquestioning support of Neo-Nazi Ukraine or the rioting Chinese criminals in Hong Kong! Of course, a perennial programme that has been on-going since 1948 is the unquestioning support of Zionist Israel – long before the internet existed – but it is firmly represented upon the internet today. Furthermore, and this is the point, Policing in the UK is being diverted into “Thought Crime” such as was the case throughout Nazi Germany.
Should this change happen – and I believe it will – thie WordPress incarnation of my blog will come to an end. This is because the Labour government is proposing the removal of any internet post for any reason – including the idea that a third-party might perceive the content of a post as possibly causing offense to someone – somewhere (even if this offense remains vague and undefined). This policy is designed to keep the readily available narrative limited to that of government mainstream spin – with no deviation allowed that would expose the lies or offer an alternative understanding of reality! Stay tuned – the days of this blog may well be numbered on WordPress despite the small victory achieved recently! I suspect that regardless as to where posts are made – the UK government will have them removed. ACW (21.8.2024)
A few days ago, and following 13-years of unhindered blogging, WordPress suddenly “Suspended” my account and prevented me from accessing or downloading my Copyrighted material. According to UK Consumer Law – this is an illegal activity. Yet again, we see a US Corporation being peritted to operated within a sovereign space of another nation – and acting as if the law of that country does not apply to their activities. I was deied access to my Copyrighted work for 48 hours before WordPress admitted a mistake had been made and my blog was reinstated. I was banned within hours of reporting an Israeli strike on a Gaza school – which killed over 100 people. Of course, WordPress denied any link between the post content and the action they took. The two pathetic excuses incled:
- I had no VAT number.
- I was routinely posting spam.
WordPress could prove neither of these allegations and so my blog was unblocked. Throughout all of this, however, WordPress continuously threatened me with the entire contents of my blog being deleted. This is 13-years of family and political activity – including my banning from Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, etc. I have never done anything wrong – all I have insisted on is supporting China and North Korea in a peaceful way. I am a British person from a culture that advocates the ancient Greek attributes of freedom of thought and freedom of expression – but it seems that when I exercise these attributes – the Americans do not like it! Anyway, long story short – at the above link is the Telegram incarnation of this blog. I can post in real time there and share data I cannot share here. Onwards and upwards!
