Blogger’s Note: The story of Florence Nightingale (1820-1910) is taught to every British schoolchild. We are taught that during the Crimean War (1853-1856) – Florence Nightingale was a Nurse (practicing “modern” standards of hygienic medicine) – who took-on the British Military and Parliamentary Authorities of her day and strove to assist the health (and efficient healing) of wounded British soldiers. Around ten-miles from the fighting – Florence Nightingale established “Field Hospitals” that treated any wounded British soldier that was rescued from the battlefield, placed on a cart, and transported along the rudimentary roadways. Indeed, in London there exists an exclusive “Florence Nightingale School of Midwifery” which takes only the top 10% of NHS Midwives in the UK. I know this as my ethnically Chinese partner – Gee – received a Medal when she graduated from it.
Furthermore, Gee volunteered to serve on the NHS frontline during the Covid-19 Pandemic (a service featured in the local Press) – a National Emergency which saw at least 50 of the her NHS colleagues struck-down by this disease. The Tory government of the time refused to give Gee a mask to save her life – and so our friends in China sent a box of masks (strapped to a chair) on an empty aeroplane (sent by the CPC from Beijing to London) to take-away the tens of thousands of Mainland Chinese people the Tories had arbitrarily expelled from the UK – on the false premise that these people were “spreading illness”!
The point is that narratives can be complex and confusing. Why did the Neo-Nazi Ukrainians develop a “SS” military Unit termed “Nightingale” during WWII? Why does the modern military of Ukraine still maintain such a (post-1991) Unit? Well, this is because Florence Nightingale was a renowned racist who held viewpoints that were typical of her time (British schoolchildren are not taught this in the UK). Mary Seacole (1805-1881) was a “Brittish” Nurse of West Indian origin who was “refused” entry into Florence Nightingale’s Nursing Unit due to the “Black” colour of her skin. To overcome this discrimination, Mary Seacole recruited her own Nurses (multi-ethnic in nature) who set-up Treatment Centres right next to the battefield! Grateful British soldiers often wrote to their families explaining how a “Black” Nurse had treated their wounds and cared for them – prior to them encountering Florence Nightingale. Until recently, this genuine history was excluded from the British history books.
The Crimean War was an anti-Russian war – albeit an anti Czarist war to be precise. This war was pointless, unjust and fought more out of British Establishment boredom than anything else (the UK had not fought a war since the successful “Battle of Waterloo” in 1815). The entire Crimean War was mishandled from start to finish with all the war aims of the British being defeated. The British soldiers suffered from starvation and poor supplies – being led in the most stupid of fashions (the “Charge of the Light Brigade” is a classic example). When the British Bourgeois are defeated in such a manner, it simply resorts to myth-making and legend constructing. Britain invaded Russia and was militarily neutralised – being forced to withdraw. In the UK we are taught this “defeat” was a “victory” if examined from a particular perspective.
In reality, Florence Nightingale was a nasty person holding effective (modern) ideas regarding medicine. She was anti-Russian and a racist. The US, UK and EU Intelligence Services that are advising Neo-Nazi Ukraine – understand this – and have mobilised what is left of the heavily defeated Ukrainians into a half-arsed “mini-invasion” of Kursk! The Russians will deal with this desperate incursion in their own way and the NATO-proxy will once again be defeated. Indeed, Hitler and Goebbels would “laugh” if they saw what their former enemies are doing today – and the military support the West is giving the Neo-Nazi movement of Eastern Europe! ACW (11.8.2024)
North Atlantic Fella Organization (NAFO) Australia – eagerly reposted a fake photograph hyping the Kyiv regime’s incursion into the Kursk Region of Russia. The featured road sign (above) is located on the Ukrainian side of the border (the inscription is in Ukrainian) and reads 108 km, with the “8” removed by Photoshop. What they neglected to blur, though, is the proudly displayed emblem of the Neo-Nazi Ukrainian “Nightingale” Battalion that fought under Hitler Germany’s command in WWII.
No Nazis in Ukraine?
