On his bi-weekly Podcast – George Galloway echoes the anti-gay and anti-trans rhetoric routine posted on ‘X’ by his partner. In fact, George Galloway has become a something of Poster Boy (in a Fedora) for the more ‘conservative’ elements of the Islamic community. Indeed, his so-called ‘Workers’ Party’ – like so much of the current incarnation of the Galloway Circus – only appears to be ‘Socialist’ on the surface. Indeed, on the first-page of Workers’ Party of Britain it clearly states that it represents a ‘socially conservative’ and NOT a ‘Revolutionary’ movement! Since his 2002 reversion to Islam – George Galloway has moved ever further to the political right whilst keeping-up the pretence of being ‘Socialist’. In this regard he is a typical Trotskyite practicing the ‘entryism’ tactic. He deceptively infiltrates leftist movements with the intention of shifting those entities toward the political (and religious) right and the re-embracing of predatory capitalism. None of this is te fault of Islam or Muslims – but rather of George Galloway himself. I know many Muslims who do NOT share his bigoted viewpoints.
In this regard, Galloway’s homophobia, transphobia and racism – which are common place expressions on his weekly broadcasts (mimicking those of his partner and many of his guests) – are more in line with the prejudices of ‘National Socialism’ than Scientific ‘Socialism’. What fooled many people for many years was the fact that until his 2002 reversion to Islam – he was genuinely of the ‘left’ – and whilst he absorbed the inevitable pre-modern attitudes of the theistic belief system of his choice, he kept up the ‘front’ (or ‘rear-guard’ action) that ‘hid’ his new non-Socialist attitudes from those who only knew him as a ‘Socialist’. Perhaps his clash with the US Senate in 2005 was his fabled ‘Last Stand’. It is probably dawning on him now – as he sits in his comfy chair, sips his coco and wears his warm slippers – that to stop the Grooming Gangs – he will have to denounce a number of those religiously motivated prejudices he now currently adheres to – because such an adherence makes his partner feel ‘nice’ about the world (the ‘JK Rowling’ effect). Of course, this conclusion runs contrary to the false-Galloway propaganda contained in yet another letter that sent around Rochdale by his Campaign Team (in his name) – which (whilst being targeted at the non-Muslim community) incorrectly implied that the sexual abuse of White (underage) girls in Rochdale by the Grooming Gangs was the product of positive pro-gay and pro-trns education in British schools!
Onething is for sure, watching a fading George Galloway trying to justify his acquired religious bigotry as being somehow a new kind of ‘Progressive Socialism’ – is as as sad to see as it is disturbing to hear. He seems to operate through a number of self-imposed myths. He is NOT the only person in the world to oppose Israeli Zionism or support the Palestinians. Contrary to Galloway propaganda, this is a staple tactic of the genuine Marxist-Leninist left – a movement Galloway has continuously stated he is not part of. What Galloway certainly is, and this is an issue everyone can agree upon, is a self-serving opportunist. We have seen this well-timed mechanism in operation throughout his Rochdale campaign over the last month. He will achieve precisely ‘zero’ in the three-months alootted to him before the General Election. As an MP he possesses NO power to re-invent long-gone NHS Services, save the local Football Club or even clean the Town Hall Clock! Well, at least George Galloway has pledged to work with the far-right ‘Reform UK’ Party – which came ‘6th’ in the by-election and got absolutely nowhere locally in Rochdale. After-all, Galloway’s far-right chum – Nigel Farage – is a member of ‘Reform UK’! Remember, Galloway continuously states that Nigel Farage is NOT ‘far-right’ when even Farage admits that he is! Finally. Galloway accused Azhar Ali (the ‘disowned’ Labour Candidate) of making ‘anti-semitic’ statements when he voiced support for a well publicised news story regarding Egyptian Intelligence giving Israel an ignored warning that Hamas was planning something – when Galloway himself makes far stronger and far more controversial statements on his public broadcasts – which Galloway declares are ‘anti-Zionist’! As one commentator observed today – Galloway is not clever – he’s deceitful!
