Translator’s Note: It is clear from both the records of the US and UK and the USSR – that the Soviet Red Army of Workers and Peasants possessed NO credible intelligence that Adolf Hitler was still in Berlin as his remaining fanatical ‘SS’ (mostly of ‘foreign’ extraction) and the crumbling ‘Volkssturm’ (comprised of old men, young boys, the wounded and even young girls) started to terminally fall apart and implode! Why would Adolf Hitler stay in a dangerous Berlin when there were much safer and secure places he could have fled to? A fully equipped and well-armed Nazi German Army of over one million men still existed in Norway – but anywhere would have been ‘safer’ than Berlin at the moment Hitler is believed to have taken his own life!
After killing and maiming around 41 million Soviet men, women and children in the USSR, and despite the advancing Red Army losing one hundred thousand troops a week – a score had to be settled whilst the Western Allies held their forces back in the West to await developments. Hitler’s fanatical troops had to be ground-down almost street by street! Indeed, it is said by British historian – Hugh Trevor-Roper – that it was a Soviet Army Medical Unit comprised of ‘armed’ female Soviet Nurses that first made their way into the Reich Chancellery Garden. These brave women had to defend themselves from Snipers and Nazi German troops – whilst tasked with searching-out and treating any men, women or children they found – regardless of ethnicity. Proof of this lies in the fact that these women advanced ahead of the Soviet Red Army.
When they were informed by the surrendering Nazi German Bunker Staff that Hitler’s body had been burned (and his remains were lying in a ditch next to those of his wife – Eva Braun – and his Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, etc) – an urgent message was sent to the NKVD Special Forces! At that time – and decades before DNA and Dental X-Rays would settle the matter – there was much confusion amongst the Soviet High Command, especially as a Hitler ‘double’ (now deceased) was also found near the Bunker (I have located a declassified Soviet photograph featuring Red Army troops pointing at the body of Gustav Wehler – apparently assuming it to be Hitler). There are also stories of one of Hitler’s Cook’s being mistaken for Hitler himself – with various other bodies being discovered in odd places! It is the US anti-intellectualism of the Cold War – and the continuous disinformation that misrepresents the history of the USSR – that the following (translated) article attempts to disentangle and demystify. Whilst the US perpetuated the lie of Soviet atrocities – Stalin countered with the idea that Hitler might still be alive – and therefore a threat to the Western Bourgeois control of capitalism! It is generally accepted that Adolf Hitler ended his days during the Spring of 1945 in besieged Berlin – through suicide. There are eyewitness accounts and surviving artifacts – whilst the Fuhrer’s jaw, for example, is still kept in a special archive at Lubyanka. But there are those who believe that the leader of the Nazi Reich escaped retribution and hid somewhere in South America – until the end of his days. Supporters of this version of history also claim to possess substantial evidence and eyewitnesses who allegedly saw Hitler after his official death. What if both are right, and the truth in this historical detective story lies somewhere in the middle?
Congressman Hitler wished his Compatriots a Merry Christmas. Yes – that is really his name – Hitler Saavedra. A name that is still cursed in Europe does not at all prevent one from pursuing a political career in Latin America. It seems like people in this part of the world just like to play with fire.
Tejo is a favourite explosive game played by Colombians. Probably, just like the bright-spark in this game, it clicked in the head of the one who decided – if Adolf Hitler did not exist in Latin America – then perhaps he should be invented. This idea certainly seems to have hit the target.
American historian Jeremy Kuzmarov has observed: “The fugitive Nazis did all the dirty work for the CIA. The Nazis were needed to support Anti-Communist and Pro-Fascist regimes throughout Latin America.”
Having studied recently declassified CIA documents, Jeremy Kuzmarov has come to the conclusion that after WWII – a Hitler double did indeed appear in Latin America.
Jeremy Kuzmarov: “The CIA could have used this fake Hitler to mobilize fugitive Nazis – and force them to act in American interests during the Cold War against the USSR.”
In the mid-1950s, an Intelligence Report made its way to CIA Headquarters within which agents reported that a man had appeared in the Colombian city of Tunja – bearing a physical appearance exactly like that of Adolf Hitler. A photograph was attached to the Report. The Germans living in Tunja supposedly followed this Adolf Hitler without question. In reverence for their Nazi past, they addressed this individual as “der Führer” and used the straight-armed Nazi salute. The agents themselves offered to find and detain “der Fuhrer” – but Washington suddenly stopped the Operation without explanation.
In Tunja itself, the house where Hitler allegedly stayed seems to be known to everyone to this day. From the point of view of conspiracy theorists – that same photograph featuring Adolf Hitler was taken in one of the halls of this particular building.
Argentine Journalist – Abel Basti: “In the last years of his life – Hitler was photographed more than once – with people who were part of his inner circle.”
Abel Basti is one of those who believe that it was not a “double” who traveled around Latin America – but the real “Adolf Hitler”.
Abel Basti: “There is another very interesting photograph of a Luftwaffe Pilot who is greeted by Adolf Hitler at a meeting in Buenos Aires during the 1960s.”
The memories of this Pilot have been recored and preserved.
Bela Kovskoski: “When he turned around, I saw his face clearly. Full-faced, hair cut in the German style. He stood up, extended his hand, and looked straight into my eyes. I froze in my tracks. He had a piercing look I had personally experienced twice in my life – it was a hypnotising look. It was Adolf Hitler!”
The same photograph has been preserved, in which, however, the man claiming to be Hitler stands with his back turned, his face only half-visible, and he does not seem to have a brushed moustache. But according to Senora Catalina, who worked as a servant for four other fugitive Nazis – Hitler appeared completely different in his later years.
Catalina: “It’s just that his portraits were everywhere in the Eickhorn house – and then he suddenly arrived. But he didn’t have a moustache, he wore a wig – and his hair now covered his forehead.”
How else can you style Hitler’s hair? But most of all – people thought about this in Washington. At the end of the war, the American Intelligence Services even prepared a visual aid in which camouflage options were calculated regarding Hitler’s apparent appearance. There is a Hitler in glasses with an alternative moustache, a Hitler without a moustache, a Hitler who is somewhat reminiscent of Freud, and even an extreme one – a Hitler with a shaved head!
Just 15-years later, the theme of Hitler’s supposed escape not only inspired criminologists, but also artists. An example is the speculations of the Illustrator of the Italian Newspaper – La Domenica del Corriere – who imagined what life might be like for an aged former Fuhrer living somewhere in Latin America.
Hitler returned to his youthful hobby of art drawing pictures and even painting a portrait of Eva Braun. It seems that he is not at all worried about the hellish fire that, through his fault, engulfed half of the world. No matter how much authoritative scientists insist that Hitler’s body burned to ashes next to his Bunker, it seems that the myth of his escape is always destined to be reborn from these ashes.
Abel Basti: “Hitler actually died in 1971. He is survived by his widow, Eva Braun. According to a direct eyewitness, they had three children – one son and two daughters.”
Here’s the inconsistency. During the 13-years of their Germanic period, Eva Braun was never pregnant. In Latin America, perhaps, only one thing could change: that this devil incarnate – Adolf Hitler – finally grew horns.
Jeremy Kuzmarov: “There is significant evidence that Hitler did die in the Bunker. There is also evidence that Hitler had numerous doubles.”
One of them is Gustav Wehler. His resemblance to Hitler was tested on a Secretary. It was like this: the double called him into the bedroom and gave an absurd order, the real Hitler came out from behind the curtain and cancelled it. Then, both Fuhrers pointed their pistols at each other. The poor Secretary still did not understand which of them he needed to save. Gustav Wehler’s body was found in the Garden of the Reich Chancellery – not far from the burnt remains – from which Hitler himself was eventually identified by his jaw.
Abel Basti: “The Nazis inserted a copy of Hitler’s dental bridge into a corpse that did not belong to him.”
Why was it necessary to kill two doubles at once for the sake of the escape of one Fuhrer? If the second body was not Hitler’s – why were the Soviet Secret Services not hunting for him? Stalin said (more than once) that he did not believe in the death of his enemy, but, according to some modern historians, only in order to support a motivating myth. The false Hitler paradigm was in favour of the USSR during the end of WWII and the start of the Cold War – as it caused confusion in the West and bolstered an anti-fascist movement.
Jeremy Kuzmarov: “Stalin perpetuated the ambiguous idea (as a personal opinion) that Hitler might be alive because it was beneficial to Soviet foreign policy. If Hitler was alive, then there was a threat that the Nazis might return to power and create a new empire. In many countries this motivated people to fight the Nazis (and by default – oppose US anti-Soviet foreign policy).”
For Latin America, the second half of the 20th century was a continuous series of civil wars and military coups, an all-out struggle between fascists and Communists.
Bettina Goering, great-niece of Hermann Goering: “Then, in many countries following WWII there was a fascist government in power, in Argentina, and so on.”
Bettina is the great-niece of the second man in the Third Reich, Hermann Goering. She is known for sterilizing herself to avoid producing other Goerings. Bettina believes that the losing Nazis were really preparing for revenge and they needed a symbol.
Bettina Goering: “They had the illusion that they could carry out a putsch in Germany and regain power.”
Hitler would, of course, be useful to them for this. But not at all the pitiful shadow of the Fuhrer, who at the end of the war hid in a bunker and turned into a decrepit paranoid. The fresh double was much better suited for this role. Perhaps it was Hitler’s double who was rescued from Berlin and transported across the Atlantic. The time to enter the historical stage never came for him.

Вот только зачем ради бегства одного фюрера понадобилось убивать сразу двух двойников? Если второе тело принадлежит не Гитлеру, почему за ним не охотились советские спецслужбы? Сталин не раз говорил, что не верит в смерть своего противника, но, как считают современные историки, только для того, чтобы поддержать этот миф. Лже-Гитлер был ему на руку.
