During an interview on Al-Manar TV, the Official of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon, Comrade Haitham Abdo, said: “This Zionist entity is an advanced military base working for the United States in this region – with various Arab regimes being too cowardly to do anything that supports the steadfastness of the Palestinian people,” noting. “The Resistance is not only a group of Resistance individuals, but rather it is the entire people, whether in Southern Lebanon or in Palestine – and what is happening in Southern Lebanon is a real, undeclared war battlefront – and not just a distant support for the Resistance.”

He continued, “We extend our condolences to the Islamic Resistance and the Palestinian Resistance for the death of the martyr Ali Hodraj – whose role was essential and effective – through his providing of expertise and support in all its forms.”

The Resistance is a complete and integrated institution that produces leaders and Mujahideen (collective fighters) on a daily basis – which does not rely upon a single person – and does not end with his martyrdom.

As many Palestinian leaders have been assassinated – from Wadih Haddad, to Ghassan Kanafani, through the martyr Abu Ali Mustafa, Fathi Al-Shaqaqi and Abu Ammar – and yet despite all this, the Resistance has developed further, took a firmer root in the land and has not retreated.

He added, there is an internal American movement pressuring Biden – especially after Trump won the Republican Party primary elections – which has increased ever more pressure on Biden.

He concluded by saying: “Building and solidifying the Resistance, developing it (and ourselves) is the foundation of any battle, and the conflict with the enemy is an existential conflict, not just a border conflict! It does not end except with the removal of this Occupation from our region – and the establishment of an Independent Palestinian State built upon the entire Palestinian territory – from the river to the sea!”
