‘Today Trotskyism no more confines itself to “informing” the bourgeoisie. Today Trotskyism is the centre and the rallying point for the enemies of the Soviet Union, of the proletarian revolution in capitalist countries, of the Communist International. Trotskyism is trying not only to disintegrate the dictatorship of the proletariat in the Soviet Union, but also to disintegrate the forces that make for the dictatorship of the proletariat the world over.’ Moissaye J. Olgin
I stopped reading The Manchester Guardian Newspaper years ago when it became obvious that it no longer represented the working people – or the Socialist Cause! Today, however, I was forwarded an article covering a recent Copyright Trial regarding a US Citizen, Amazon and the Tolkien Estate, etc. You can imagine my horror when I got to the bottom of this puff-piece to see the bizarre utterances of “Marina Hyde”! Marina Hyde may described in the following terms:
‘Trotsky as an individual is only a representative of a certain social class. He is a petty-bourgeois intellectual. He started with opposition to the Revolution and the Communist Party, and he has finished with heading the counter-revolution. True to type, he was drawn to the revolutionary movement of the working class but he never believed in the ability of the revolutionary forces to carry through the Revolution to a successful conclusion and he always hated the very essence of a proletarian party. He hates the tedious day-by-day activities of building and perfecting a workers’ organization. He hates discipline when applied to himself. But he loves discipline when he applies it to others. When he was War Commissar, he was ruthless towards subordinates. When he was out-voted a thousand to one in the Bolshevik Party, he refused to submit.’
To understand “how” and “what” The Guardian now does, it would be prudent for the average reader to study the 1935 text entitled ‘Trotskyism – Counter-Revolution in Disguise‘ penned by the Soviet intellectual – Moissaye J. Olgin. The Guardian is no friend of the people and is actively participating in the abusive process of ‘grooming’ our children to hate their own class and reject the Socialist (Marxist-Leninist) message of hope and saviour. I may not be a supporter of Enver Hoxha – or adhere to his interpretation of the geo-political scene as he saw it – but neither do I perceive him to be a ‘Dictator’ in the sense of Mussolini, Franco, Hitler, Tojo, Clinton, Bush, Blair, Cameron, Trump or Biden, etc. Enver Hoxha, like ALL General Secretaries of the various Communist Parties – was ‘elected’ into that role through the auspices of Centralised Democracy – a process that empowers (and enfranchises) far more working-class people in a meaningful way than liberal democracy can or will. Like all “Socialist” Representatives – the people living under this “Socialist” system could of removed Enver Hoxha at anytime for any reason – a “Right” MISSING from ALL liberal democracies (and a Right the Albanian people never chose to exercise)! As Marina Hyde is not working-class – She “loves discipline when it is applied it to others!” Of course, Marina Hyde has very little to say regarding the Zionist Israelis killing and maiming around 70,000 Palestinians in just a single month during that country’s invasion of Palestine! After-all, it took the Nazi German Luftwaffe around 18 months of continuously blanket-bombing the UK (between 1940-1941) to amass 70,000 casualties during the Blitz!
