Media Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine held a meeting in Solidarity with the Palestinian people and their Resistance, in front of the Headquarters of the International Red Cross in Ain al-Hilweh Camp, on Friday, 12/1/2023, in the presence of the Palestinian National Action Factions, the Trade Unions, Labour and Popular Federations, and the leadership of the Popular Front in Sidon. Participants in the meeting raised Palestinian flags and banners – condemning the Zionist aggression and calling on the United Nations to assume its responsibilities in stopping the Israeli criminality and prosecuting Zionist War Criminals for their Crimes Against Humanity!
The speech of the Democratic Front was delivered by a member of its leadership in Lebanon, Ahmed Qayyim, who condemned the Zionist aggression against Gaza and stressed Palestinian National Unity.
Then the speech of the Palestine Liberation Organization, delivered by the Official of Political Relations in the Sidon-Palestine region, Abu Ali Hamdan, began by offering salutes to the Palestinian people who are making great sacrifices for the sake of freedom and return! He saluted the martyrs who gave (and are giving) their blood for the sake of Palestine, especially children, women and the elderly! He saluted the Resistance in Gaza, and its patient and steadfast people! He saluted the supporters of the Resistance, from Syria to Iran, Yemen and Iraq, and Hezbollah, which played a role in supplying the Resistance with weapons and capabilities! He saluted the Palestinian Resistance Forces that produced a unique example of confrontation with Zionist fascism – praising the resulting martyrs and wounded – and represented an exemplary case of fighting Israeli Neo-Nazism whilst maintaining unity in the field amongst all Resistance Factions! He praised the Resistance and the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, and condemned the crimes of the Zionist Occupation Authorities! The blood of the Palestinian people in Gaza (and the West Bank) will blossom in victory against the Zionist (Neo-Nazi) enemy, which is once again confirmed to be a defeated foe suffering an immense crisis whilst being unable to defend its fascist policies! The Resistance and its heroes has inflicted one of the greatest military defeats against a major Neo-Nazi power in the world today!
He stressed that the victory achieved by the Palestinian Resistance on October 7th (2023) is a great political and military achievement, and that the Palestinian people, through their legendary steadfastness, gained the respect of the peoples of the world who took to the streets in their millions, rejecting the Zionist aggression, and affirming the right of the Palestinian people to pursue freedom and to Resist the Zionist Occupation.
He said that the Israeli enemy committed a war of genocide against the Gaza Strip for fifty days, targeting civilians, including women and children, and civilian facilities, including homes, hospitals, shelter centres, International Headquarters, places of worship, and Press Headquarters. All of this confirms that the Zionist enemy is an entity above the law, and commits its crimes without accountability! This challenges the credibility of the International Legal System and questions all its institutions! The Zionist entity and its political leaders, Generals, and soldiers must be brought to International Trial via the International Criminal Court for their War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity!
He continued that the Zionist entity seeks, through American support, to attempt to tamper with the Rights of the Palestinian people, stressing that the Zionist enemy failed to achieve its goals by striking the Resistance forces. He condemned the official Arab role that failed to take a serious stance in confronting the enemy and its allies, through the use of oil sanction, and the official Arab regimes that proved their loyalties lie with their business partners in America! Their silence and blindness played into supporting the barbarism of the Zionist enemy and its fascism! He stressed that this response is the “Head of the Snake” represented by America and its European allies! The Zionist entity will be Resisted through true National Unity and Armed Resistance! The Palestinian people will take on everyone who tries to harm their existence or take away their rights! There is no other way for the Palestinian people other than Resistance to maintain their National Rights, liberate their Palestinian land from the river to the sea – and eventually return home to use their house keys and tend their Olive Trees!

أقامت الجبهة الديمقراطية لتحرير فلسطين، لقاءً تضامنيًّا مع الشعب الفلسطيني ومقاومته، أمام مقر الصليب الأحمر الدولي في مخيم عين الحلوة، وذلك يوم الجمعة في 1/12/2023، بحضور فصائل العمل الوطني الفلسطيني، والاتحادات النقابية والعمالية والشعبية وقيادة الجبهة الشعبية في صيدا. ورفع المشاركون في اللقاء الأعلام الفلسطينية، ولافتات تدين العدوان، وتدعو الأمم المتحدة لتحمل مسؤولياتها في وقف العدوان، ومحاكمة مجرمي الحرب الصهاينة على جرائمهم.
وكانت كلمة الجبهة الديمقراطية، ألقاها عضو قيادتها في لبنان أحمد قيم الذي أدان العدوان الصهيوني على غزة، و شدّد على الوحدة الوطنية الفلسطينية.
ثم كلمة منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، ألقاها مسؤول العلاقات السياسية في منطقة صيدا فلسطين أبو علي حمدان، استهلها بتقديم التحية للشعب الفلسطيني الذي يقدم التضحيات الجسام، من أجل الحرية والعودة، والتحية للشهداء الذين قدموا دمهم من أجل فلسطين، خاصة الأطفال و النساء والشيوخ، والتحية إلى غزة المقاومة، وأهلها الصابرين الصامدين، والتحية إلى داعمي المقاومة، من سوريا إلى إيران، واليمن والعراق، و حزب الله الذي كان له الدور في رفد المقاومة بالسلاح والإمكانيات، والتحية إلى قوى المقاومة الفلسطينية التي قدمت النموذج الفذ في المواجهة، وقدمت الشهداء والجرحى، ومثلوا حالة نموذجية في القتال والوحدة الميدانية بين فصائل المقاومة كافة، وأشاد بالمقاومة وبمعركة طوفان الأقصى البطولية، وأدان جرائم سلطات الاحتلال الصهيوني، معتبرا أن دماء الشعب الفلسطيني في غزه والضفة ستزهر نصرا على العدو الصهيوني الذي يتأكد مرة جديدة انه كيان مهزوم ومأزوم، وغير قادر على مواجهة المقاومة وابطالها.
وأكد أن النصر الذي حققته المقاومة الفلسطينية في 7 اكتوبر هو إنجاز سياسي وعسكري كبير، وأن الشعب الفلسطيني، ومن خلال صموده الأسطوري كسب احترام شعوب العالم التي نزلت بالملايين إلى الشوارع رافضة للعدوان الصهيوني، ومؤكدة حق الشعب الفلسطيني بالحرية وبمقاومة الاحتلال.
وقال إن ارتكاب العدو الإسرائيلي لحرب إبادة ضد قطاع غزه طيلة خمسين يوما، من الاستهداف للمدنيين من النساء والأطفال والمنشآت المدنية من منازل ومستشفيات، ومراكز إيواء، ومقرات دولية، ودور عبادة ومقرات صحفية. كل هذا يؤكد أن كيان العدو هو كيان فوق القانون، ويرتكب جرائمه دون حسيب، مما يجعل مصداقية النظام الدولي ومؤسساته كافة موضع تشكيك، وبجب تقديم الكيان الصهيوني وقادته السياسيين وجنرالاته وجنوده إلى المحاكمة الدولية، ومحكمة الجنايات الدولية .
وتابع، إن الكيان الصهيوني يسعى، ومن خلال الدعم الأمريكي إلى محاولة العبث بحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني، مؤكدا أن العدو الصهيوني فشل في تحقيق أهدافه بضرب قوى المقاومة. وأدان الدور الرسمي العربي الذي فشل في اتخاذ موقف جدي في مواجهة العدو وحلفائه، من خلال استعمال سلاح النفط، وإن النظام الرسمي العربي أثبت أنه شريك مع أمريكا، من خلال الصمت والعمى اللذين أصاباه في الدلالة على همجية العدو الصهيوني و فاشيته، و أكد ان الرد على رأس الحية أمريكا و حلفائها الأوروبيين و الكيان الصهيوني يكون من خلال الوحدة الوطنية الحقيقية، والمقاومة المسلحة ضد كل من يحاول المس بشعبنا و حقوقه، وإنه لا سبيل أمام الشعب الفلسطيني إلا المقاومة لانتزاع حقوقنا الوطنية، و تحرير أرضنا الفلسطينية من النهر الى البحر و العودة إليها
