The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) held the American Administration, its Western allies, United Nations institutions, and the World Health Organization – fully responsible for the ongoing crimes committed by the Zionist Occupation against hospitals and medical staff – stressing that this silence serves as a green light for the Zionists to continue targeting hospitals, destroying the health infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, and killing doctors!
The PFLP confirmed that the continuation of the siege – and bombing of hospitals in the Gaza Strip – led to dozens of ceasing to function and a large number being damaged. The Zionists are deliberately targeting Kidney and Heart Units – as happened today in Al-Shifa Hospital – as well as destroying the only hospital for Child Cancer! This barbaric action led to the announcement of the death of a number of cancer patients. Today, the Zionists deliberately targeted Gaza’s Maternity Hospitals – killing numerous remature infants as a result of a cessation of service. The Zionists targeted Mahdi Hospital – a War Crime which saw the martyrdom of two doctors, and the injury of displaced people sheltering in the hospital. This is a transgression of all red lines – and of all international norms and laws – and it is happening in front of the eyes and ears of the entire world!
The PFLP considered that these continuous, systematic and comprehensive Zionist crimes against the Palestinian health infrastructure, the destruction of hospitals, the killing and maiming of doctors, nurses and patients, and the killing and maiming of ambulance crews – has not occurred before in any region, or in any previous wars or conflicts. It is a registered trademark of the Zionist Entity which is acting in full partnership with the United States of America, its allies, and various international institutions!
The PFLP sstated: “The so-called free world – which pays lip-service to Human Rights and the right of patients to treatment, especially in times of wars and conflicts – is today deciding to slaughter the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip! This axis of evil is gathering identification and coordination data, and passing this information on to the Zionists to assist its plans to destroy the entire health infrastructure in the Gaza Strip! This complicit behaviour in Zionist criminality is nothing but a Death Sentence imposed on our people – especially the wounded and sick!”
The PFLP pointed out that the United Nations Institutions have evaded their responsibilities since the first day of the aggression – acting in clear alignment with the Zionist Occupation! In this regard the World Health Organization and the Red Cross have also abandoned their tasks and services in recent days, in submission to the distorted will of the Zionist Occupation, and ignored a large number of appeals from citizens besieged by sniper fire. The shelling in various areas of Gaza City has led to the death and injury of many civilians. Due to the UN, WHO and the Red Cross bending to Zionist criminality – these innocent victims of Zionist War Crimes remain laying in the rubble! The hospitals lack medical supplies and fuel whilst medical staff are being murdered by the Zionists! This is clear collusion and a disregard for International Laws that call for respect and protection of medical facilities and their workers at all times. The Zionists – and their Western allies – are a violating all standards of International Humanitarian Law!
The PFLP concluded its statement by stressing that the remains of children, the blood of doctors, and the suffering of patients will remain a curse that haunts all the negligent and accomplices who abandoned the Palestinian people, the patients, the wounded, and the doctors – all of which have become prey to the unprecedented Zionist War Crimes committed by this rogue entity, whose crimes have not been matched by any occupying or colonial power throughout history.

الشعبية تُحمّل الإدارة الأمريكية والغرب ومؤسسات الأمم المتحدة والصليب الأحمر المسؤولية الكاملة عن الجرائم بحق المشافي والطواقم الطبية

حَملّت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين الإدارة الأمريكية وحلفاءها من الغرب ومؤسسات الأمم المتحدة، ومنظمة الصحة العالمية المسؤولية الكاملة عن الجرائم المتواصلة التي يرتكبها الاحتلال الصهيوني بحق المشافي والطواقم الطبية، مؤكدةً أن هذا الصمت بمثابة ضوء أخضر لمواصلة استهداف المشافي وتدمير البنية الصحية في القطاع وقتل الأطباء.
وأكدت الجبهة أن استمرار محاصرة وقصف المشافي في القطاع، التي أدت إلى توقف عمل العشرات منها، وتضرر عددٍ كبير منها، واستهداف وحدات الكلى والقلب كما جرى اليوم في مستشفى الشفاء، وتدمير المشفى الوحيد للأطفال، ومشفى السرطان، والإعلان عن وفاة عدد من مرضى السرطان والأطفال الخدج نتيجة توقف الخدمة، وصولاً إلى ارتكاب جريمة جديدة اليوم، باستهداف مشفى مهدي، واستشهاد طبيبين، وإصابة مهجرين في المستشفى هو تجاوز لكل الخطوط الحمراء، وللأعراف والقوانين الدولية كافة، على مرأى ومسمع العالم أجمع.
واعتبرت الجبهة أن هذه الجرائم الصهيونية المتواصلة الممنهجة والشاملة بحق البنية الصحية الفلسطينية، وتدمير المشافي على رؤوس الأطباء والممرضين والمرضى، وقتل عدد كبير من الأطباء وطواقم الإسعاف لم تحدث من قبل في أي منطقة، أو في أية حروب، أو صراعات سابقة، فهي ماركة مسُجلة باسم الكيان الصهيوني بشراكة تامة مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحلفائها والمؤسسات الدولية المتواطئة لا العاجزة فقط.
وقالت الجبهة: “ما يُسمى بالعالم الحر الذي يتشدق بحقوق الإنسان وحق المرضى في العلاج، خاصة في أوقات الحروب والصراعات يتخذ اليوم قراراً بذبح الشعب الفلسطيني في القطاع من الوريد للوريد، عبر التماهي والتساوق وتمرير مخططات الاحتلال بتدمير البنية الصحية بالكامل في القطاع، وما يعنيه ذلك الحكم بالإعدام على أبناء شعبنا خاصة الجرحى والمرضى”.
وأشارت الجبهة إلى أن مؤسسات الأمم المتحدة التي هربت من مسؤولياتها منذ اليوم الأول للعدوان في تساوق واضح مع الاحتلال، فضلاً عن منظمة الصحة العالمية، ومنظمة الصليب الأحمر تخلت عن مهامها وخدماتها في الأيام الأخيرة، إذعاناً للاحتلال، وتجاهلت عددًا كبيرًا من مناشدات المواطنين المحاصرين بنيران القناصة والقذائف في مناطق مختلفة من مدينة غزة، التي أدت إلى استشهاد وإصابة البعض وبقاء البعض منهم محاصراً حتى هذه اللحظة، فضلاً عن رفضها تزويد المشافي بالوقود اللازم، مؤكدةً أن هذا تواطؤ واضح وضرب بعرض الحائط القوانين الدولية التي تدعو لاحترام وحماية المرافق الطبية والعاملين فيها في جميع الأوقات، واعتباره هذه الممارسات انتهاكاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها مؤكدة أن أشلاء الأطفال، ودماء الأطباء، وعذابات المرضى ستبقى لعنة تلاحق كل المتخاذلين والمتواطئين الذين تركوا شعبنا ومرضانا وجرحانا وأطباءنا فريسة للإجرام الصهيوني غير المسبوق لهذا الكيان المارق، الذي لم تضاهِ جرائمه أية قوة احتلال أو استعمار عبر التاريخ.
