Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, had a historic meeting with Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation – on September 13th (2023) at the Wastochny Space Launch Complex – located in the Amur Oblast of the Far East Region. There was a great reunion of freinds!
The traditional friendly relationship between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation, which has been strengthened through the verification of history throughout many generations and earlier centuries, has further transformed into an invincible Comrade-in-Arms relationship! This is a century-old strategic relationship premised upon deep friendship – especially benefitting from the friendship between Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Pujin!
The Wastochny Space Launch Complex, which was the venue chosen to welcome Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un (on his official friendly visit to the Russian Federation) represents the new expansion and development of the friendly and cooperative relations between North Korea and Russia – which boasts a great history and tradition – enveloped as it was in a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
The special train on which our dear Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived at the Warstogni Space Launch Centre at 13:00 local time.
As soon as our dear Comrade Kim Jong Un alighted the train, the Russian Federation Armed Forces Land, Navy and Air Force Honora Guards politely welcomed him with the utmost respect.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un exchanged greetings with the Russian Federation of Palm Nature Ecologists and other visiting officials, and then headed to the reunion venue to meet with Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
Comrade Choe Son Hui, Foreign Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Comrade Ri Pyong-chol and Comrade Pak Jong-chon, Marshals of the Korean People’s Army, Comrade Kang Sun-nam, Minister of National Defense of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Comrade Oh Su-yong and Comrade Park Tae-song, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, as well as attendant Executives of the Party, government and military. and other attendants accompanied him.
The flags of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation were flying in front of the Transport Rocket Assembly and Test Complex building where the North Korean and Russian leaders would meet.
Upon the arrival of our dear Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, he was warmly welcomed by Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un had a cordial and respectful meeting with President Putin and exchanged sincere greetings.
President Putin warmly welcomed Comrade Kim Jong Un for visiting the Russian Federation again at a significant and important time in the development of Russia-Korean relations.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed his gratitude to President Putin for warmly inviting and welcoming him despite his busy schedule leading overall national affairs, and said that he was pleased that this reunion was taking place in a very special and unique environment.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Wastochny Cosmodrome together with Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un was guided by Comrade Yuri Borissov, President of the Russian State-owned company Roskosmos, and Comrade Nikolai Nestcheuk, Director of the Space-Ground Infrastructure Operations Centre.
Wostotzny Space Launch Complex is contributing to remarkable growth in the field of space development by ensuring successful launches of space vehicles and satellites for various purposes, and is playing an important role in driving the socio-economic development of the Amur Region and the Far East region. It is Russia’s comprehensive space launch base.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un toured the transport rocket assembly and testing complex with President Putin and listened to an explanation of the specific technical characteristics and assembly and launch processes of transport rockets including “Soyuz-2” and “Angara.”
In addition, whilst exploring the launch complex of the transport rocket “Soyuz-2” and the launch complex construction site of the transport rocket “Angara”, we learned about the operation and construction status, the achievements and experiences created by Russia in the space industry, and the prospects for future development.
Comrade Kim Jong Un highly praised the excellent development of the Warstogni Space Launch Complex and achieved valuable achievements in accordance with Comrade Putin’s strategic space development plan, and expressed hope that the noble spirit and traditions of mighty Russia, which pioneered the path to space, will continue to shine. 경애하는 김정은동지께서는 뿌찐대통령과 함께 운반로케트조립 및 시험종합체를 돌아보시면서 《쏘유즈-2》,《안가라》를 비롯한 운반로케트들의 구체적인 기술적특성과 조립 및 발사과정에 대한 해설을 들으시였다.
또한 운반로케트 《쏘유즈-2》발사종합체와 운반로케트 《안가라》발사종합체건설장을 돌아보시면서 운영 및 건설실태와 로씨야가 우주산업분야에서 창조한 성과와 경험,앞으로의 발전전망에 대하여 청취하시였다.
김정은동지께서는 뿌찐동지의 전략적인 우주개발구상에 따라 워스또츠느이우주발사장이 훌륭히 일떠서 귀중한 성과들을 이룩하고있는데 대하여 높이 평가하시면서 우주에로의 길을 개척한 강대한 로씨야의 숭고한 정신과 전통이 빛나게 계승되기를 진심으로 축원하시였다.
