On the day of her 10th birthday – Mei-An returned from her Sunday afternoon Art Class with an artefact she has been working on for about three weeks! Her classes last for around 90 minutes and in that time she relaxes her mind and body, forgets the outside world, and focuses all of her creative talents (which she has inherited from her grandmother – Diane Wyles) on achieving a set objective!

Today’s offering is a clay figure of a Penguin with its wings open, standing in a snow scape – which is a rectangle of stout hardboard! Mei-An has added a minimal touch of colour fill-in the background!
