Whatever the case, children tend to over-simplify the behaviour of their parents – not yet mature enough to understand life and what it does to an individual. To this distorting effect can be added all the lies and disinformation that have been poured upon Stalin. Even when Joseph McCabe wrote his excellent biography of Stalin in 1944 – there had been at least twenty-years of misrepresentation. From this book we learn that his mother was a strict Orthodox Christian (this is never said about his father) and that it is through her influence that Stalin was forced into education and learned to read and write. At fourteen-years of age, his mother enrolled Stalin in a local Seminary School with the intention of him becoming an Orthodox Priest (she had already named him after “St Joseph”). Ironically, it was amongst the students at this ecclesiastic school that he first encountered Marxism as a theory. Stalin entered Seminary at aged fourteen in 1894 – and was expelled in 1899.

WWII Home Guard Emplacement - Waverly Abbey - Farnham

UK: WWII Home Guard Fort Revisit – Waverly Abbey – Farnham! (23.5.2026)

Perhaps a platoon (30-men), or a “section” (10-men) would have manned this small fort. There was a small artillary gun at the front together with a machine-gun – whilst others defended the walls via “murder-holes” in the centre of the walls or high-up from the Parapet (Merlons) and Battlement. A team would man the front gun(s) – whilst the other soldiers would be positioned on the outside and inside of the “zig-zag” structure. The enemy would have to advance past Embrasures blasting with vicious fire-power. When entering the interior (over the dead bodies of the exterior guard) the enemy would be met with sharply changing brick structures all defended round blind-corners. The interior guard would fall back to the rear of the front-gun to make a final stand. The heavy guns would be destroyed to prevent capture. These young and old men (and some women) formed static infantry formations designed to stand their ground and buy time for the regular army to reach the location.

Mao Zedong in USSR (1949)

USSR: Mao Zedong Celebrates Joseph Stalin’s Official [1949] 70th Birthday! (21.5.2026)

The 1878 Register of Infant Births kept in the Orthodox Episcopal Church of Gori City (Georgia) states (on page 33): “On December 6th, Gori resident and peasant Vissarion Ivanovich Dzhugashvili and his legal wife Ekaterina Gebrienovna gave birth to a son, Joseph”. This reference is taken as Stalin’s “actual” or “material” birthdate by many historians – although the former Catholic monk – Joseph McCabe – runs with the official date (explained below) which I find curious as he might well have had contacts who could have accessed the Church Records in Georgia. One reason might be that the politicised “Church” was viewed as acting hand-in-glove with the bourgeois (or “feudal” State in the Russian context) and therefore part of the problem that must be overthrown (that is, shifted from “public” to “private”). In this sense, who cares what the Church records? As the Secular State is primary (as the vehicle through which “Socialism” is achieved that leads to “Communism” and the dissolving of the State) – it should decide material reality and its manifestation.

Russia: 81st May 9th Soviet Worker Victory Over Fascism! (10.5.2026)

Although those days are gone – as the buffeting and protecting USSR and Communist bloc is no more – it could be said that the US definitely does now have a “Satan in the White House”! I would also place Obama right up there with both Bush’s contesting second place. Lincoln might be a close third. But I digress. During Trump’s first-term (Trump I) he was all about suppressing free speech. This blog was attacked by the US government along with millions of others. Software programmes attacked social media platforms often without the knowledge or consent of the owners. It was only after Trump lost, left office and his voice suppressed on social media that he suffered an about face and became all about “free speech” – but he is up to his fascistic tricks yet again! I cannot post any videos of the 81st Victory Parade that I have lifted from Telegram. When I attempt this – the video comes up “Private” and cannot be accessed by any viewers (the controls still say “public” and nothing can be altered, etc). So, yet again the US finds itself at the forefront of all reaction, revisionism, and dare I say it – blatant fascist oppression! We must work around this new threat to freedom. The US, UK, and EU have granted Neo-Nazi Ukraine billions in finance and more aggressive weaponry to attack Russia. Trump is directly behind this and this is why he does not want you hearing or seeing President Putin talk on May 9th – the video is suppressed like all the others. Instead, I will provide you with the written speech. On this day (May 9th 2026) the Army of North Korea participated to mark the sacrifice its soldiers made in freeing Kursk (the DPRK seems to treat modern Russia as the USSR). Onwards and upwards! The working class can meet and overcome all difficulties. Greetings to the millions of comrades in the US who reject Trump but whose voice is also suppressed. We hear you!

Rise Up Workers of the World!

UK: Thank You Lenin & Stalin! Thank You USSR! Thank You Russia! (9.5.2026)

I will never forget the working class hope the USSR granted the world! If the USSR did not exist – the fascists would have won WWII and we would be studying Trotskyism, worshipping the Pope, and speaking German! No thank you! Lenin and Stalin led the working class in the right direction and only the hopelessly oppressed do not realise this to be true! This anthem was first played on the battlefield in 1944 as the Soviet Red Army left Soviet territory and headed into the lands of the allies of Nazi Germany – heading resolutely toward Berlin. Millions upon millions would die for the freedom of you snd I! We must stand to attention today when the Parade of the Immortals begins in Moscow (10am). Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurah!

UK: My Grandfather’s WWII PTSD – the Cost of Our Freedom! (9.5.2026)

He trained alongside the Glider-Landed Troops – trained to sit 30 to a wooden glider (a platoon) and crash-land on a military target before deploying (if surviving). Alfred either landed on Sword Beach in the first landing-boats and fought his way (ten-miles) in-land to relieve the British Glider Troops landed in Caen – or he landed in Caen with the Glider Troops and tried to hold the area until relieved by the British Army. Either way (we are not exactly sure – but must assume the former) the German resistance was so intense the first-wave Units were decimated and many of the early objectives were not achieved. My grandfather, when talking about his experiences many years later, described how he had to kill many people as he moved through the French and German countryside. He would fight his way to Hamburg before he was granted rest and leave. It was this killing that negatively affected him psychologically. Indeed, there hundreds of thousands of men in the UK who had to re-integrate into British society and pretend nothing had happened.
