This IRRG statement excises an entire episode of material history regarding Saddam Hussein – missing-out the fact that it was the US and Israel that urged him to attack Iran, that gave him the money and arms to do so, and politically supported him when he was doing it. The IRRRG statement, in an attempt to maintain its anti-intellectual (theological) position – then omits completely that once the US and Israel were finished with exploiting Iraq – they overthrew its Socialist regime and executed its leaders (including Judges) in the most brutal of fashions – the body of one Judge detached from the head as he fell through the trap-door) – all actions that Iran supported. Has this IRRG statement omitted these facts because they are inconvenient – and in fact embody the exact blue-print being deployed by the US and Israel toward Iran at ths exac moment?

I wonder what they would say if it was suggested that the Palestinians need rescuing from both Zionist oppression and Islamic inversion? I shudder to think. PA can only justify it along very narrow, sectarian grounds – as it flirts with Trotskyism and the far-right. Genuine leftists should find Islamic racism toward Jews disturbing and not in anyway part of a legitimate working class struggle. I say all this as supporter of Palestine – and opposer of Zionism. However, I an NOT a theist and reject ALL notions of a god sat up in the clouds who is somehow orchestrating all this nonsence!

In contrast, recent reports indicate that China has provided Iran with new technology in an effort to prevent infiltration by US and Israeli intelligence, and to help Tehran defend itself from advanced US and Israeli warplanes.

This includes supplying Iran with advanced Chinese sensor systems and radars, such as the YLC-8B, capable of tracking stealth aircraft and conducting electronic surveillance.

US-based analysts speaking with theWashington Post sought to attribute Iran’s success in targeting US assets to Russian assistance.

Iran is “making very precise hits on early warning radars or over-the-horizon radars,” said Dara Massicot, an expert on the Russian military at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. “They’re doing this in a very targeted way. They’re going after command and control,” she added.

Nicole Grajewski of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government said there was a high level of “sophistication” in the Iranian retaliatory strikes.

These Islamicists literally believe that Allah will magically create a break in the material cycle of cause and effect – and thereby grant Iran a military victory where the chances of prevailing are virtually zero. Many express anti-Semitic viewpoints, and viewpoints I have only ever encountered in the political far-right (“the USSR was Jewish” for instance). The fact that Allah has not come to the aid of any Arab or Persian regime in the last 150-years does not dent this belief in theology – in fact it strengthens it. Many Muslims supported Hitler before and drawing WWII – as his anti-Semitic viewpoints and policies were seen as Islamic friendly (the reason the UK and USSR invaded pro-Hitler Iran in 1941). After WWII, the Marxist-Leninist left supported all non-White peoples attempting to throw-off the yoke of Western imperialism. In this mix the Islamic resistance to Zionist Israel was incorporated – but there are contradictions. Many Muslims are happy to receive help from Marxists – but do not support any form of secular Socialism – and openly reject Marxism (and quite often material science). Muslims have rejected Arab Baathism (Arab Secular Socialism) on the grounds it relegated Islam to a non-political status (a private matter). This is why places like Iran allowed Iraq, Libya, and Syria to be destroyed (within reason and context). The other Muslim States – which used to support Palestine – now support Israel after being threatened by the US with the kind of regime change that Iran is currently undergoing.
