Indeed, St Tiggywinkles is premised upon the origin foundation of the British ‘National Health Service’ (founded in 1948), which has provided free at the point of us medical care for the human population. Although paid for through collective taxation – since 1979 (a year after St Tiggywinles was Founded) the NHS has been steadily ‘privatised’ step by step – and has become a third-rate and shambolic ‘ghost’ of what it once was! At least St Tiggywinkles has stayed true to the founding principles of its excellent hospital!
The Ukrainian Neo-Nazis teach their children that ‘Russians’ (and everything ‘Russian’) are viewed as products of an inferior race and a dysfunctional culture! Neo-Nazi Ukrainians are taught to look toward Europe (particularly Germany) to re-affirm their cultural identity – when in fact they are more or less genetically identical to the Russians that Hitler hated!
And this brings me to the issue of WordPress registering a small percentage of my blog visitors as arising in the ‘European Union’! Since when has a post-WWII US-derived, (right-wing) political treaty served as a marker of geographical location? Not every country in Europe is in the EU and with the UK being ‘out’ – and Northern and Southern States not being ‘in’ – the ‘EU’ as a designator cannot serve as a reliable geographical locator!
If anyone can repair this, please contact the Temple. Upon reflection I suspect children climbing the elephants have not helped matters over the years… The left-hand elephant nobly sustained our two children!
The attitude of the Buddha exists within the sacred space of this temple in a country which otherwise advocates a brutal and uncaring socio-economic ideology and society! The Buddha would never have accepted this system as being ‘valid’ or applicable for attaining and living with a healthy mind and body!
