“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind…”
William Shakespeare – A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Helena (Act 1 – Scene 1)
At the above link is photographs from my father’s funeral – Peter Wyles (1943-2026). There was a procession through Torquay and a Church Service, both of which took place on Monday, June 29th, 2026 – with the cremation taking place on June 30th, 2026 (the next day – on Tuesday). We enter the world with nothing – and we leave with nothing – although some have families have accumulated plenty at the cost of others. In the latter case, those born into those families have far too much – and they pass on this consolidated greed to their descendants upon death – not so my family. We pass on strength of character, virtuous conduct, and bravery of spirit – none of which can be bought or sold for money or influence. The Churches in Torbay – and Torbay Council – are so drunk on greed that neither would donate a plot – or even rent a plot to us. Their attitude was that only the rich deserve to be buried – and so my father was cremated. I refuse to set-foot in a Church that possesses such a hypocritical attitude. I will not compromise my political or spiritual view. All they care about is milking just one more penny from my father’s reputation – which cost people nothing – when he was out waving. Cromwell had the right idea – as did Marx and Lenin – separate Church from State – and completely defund it. No political power, property, or influence. Torbay Social Services and the Management and Staff of Simpson Ward (NHS Hospital Torbay) are all criminals as far as I am concerned. They should be arrested and tried for Crimes Against Humanity – and this includes any official who assisted this criminality. The British Labour Party (Starmer-Burnham) and the British Establishment – has earned my eternal scorn.
