I remember with deep affection and gratitude the beloved Comrade José Vicente Rangel, a central figure in Venezuelan politics and communication. I was fortunate to be very close to him: as a deputy, when he was Vice President of the Republic, and later, when I was Foreign Minister, he became my daily advisor. José Vicente was always by the side of Commander Chávez and then by mine. His profound loyalty was always palpable.
Until the last day of his life, he provided me with his support, sending me writings, letters, alerts, and confidential criticisms. José Vicente was a great window for Venezuelans to understand the thinking and project of Commander Chávez. A leader who, since the 1960s, raised the banners of the left, the revolution, and the homeland. His legacy marked a historic era in social communication. Honour and eternal glory to the memory of José Vicente Rangel!

Tuve la fortuna de estar muy cerca de él: como diputado, cuando fue Vicepresidente de la República, y luego, cuando fui canciller, se convirtió en mi consejero diario. José Vicente siempre estuvo al lado del Comandante Chávez y luego a mi lado. Su lealtad profunda siempre fue palpable.
Hasta el último día que vivió, él me brindó su apoyo, enviándome escritos, cartas, alertas y críticas confidenciales. José Vicente fue una gran ventana para que los venezolanos conocieran el pensamiento y el proyecto del Comandante Chávez. Un líder que desde los años 60 levantó las banderas de la izquierda, la revolución y la Patria. Su legado marcó una época histórica en la comunicación social. ¡Honor y gloria eterna a la memoria de José Vicente Rangel!
