Statement of the “Yemeni Armed Forces” Regarding the Targeting of the U.S. Aircraft Carrier “USS Harry Truman” in Response to American Aggression – March 16, 2025

Allah Almighty says:
“So whoever transgresses against you, transgress against him in a like manner as he transgressed against you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with the righteous.”

The American enemy launched blatant aggression against our country in the past hours, carrying out more than 47 airstrikes targeting various areas in the provinces of Sana’a, Sa’dah, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Ma’rib, and Al-Jawf. The American enemy committed several massacres, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, with the toll still incomplete.
In response to this aggression, the armed forces, by the grace of Allah, carried out a special military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier “USS Harry Truman” and its warships north of the Red Sea. The attack involved 18 ballistic and cruise missiles along with a drone strike, in a joint operation executed by the missile force, the drone air force, and the naval forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target all American warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in response to the aggression against our country. By Allah’s will, we will continue enforcing the naval blockade on the Israeli enemy and imposing restrictions on its ships in the declared operational area until humanitarian aid and essential supplies are delivered to Gaza.
This American aggression will only increase the steadfastness, faith, and resilience of dear Yemen and its steadfast, believing, and struggling people.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. What a great protector and what a great helper.

The Palestinian Communist Party condemns in the strongest terms the brutal US-British aggression against our brotherly country, Yemen. This aggression constitutes a continuation of the hegemonic and colonialist approach practiced by global imperialism against free peoples yearning for independence and sovereignty. The aerial and naval bombardment targeting Yemen under the pretext of protecting maritime navigation in the Red Sea cannot be justified in any way. It is a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and the right of its people to self-determination, free from foreign interference.
This aggression comes in the context of the imperialist powers’ direct support for the Zionist entity in its brutal aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza, as the Zionist occupation continues its criminal siege of the Strip, in an attempt to subjugate the resistance and break the will of our steadfast people. Targeting Yemen today is nothing but an imperialist response to its honourable stance in confronting this siege and its support for the Palestinian cause by closing navigation in the Red Sea as a means of pressuring the forces supporting the occupation.
We, the Palestinian Communist Party, affirm our full solidarity with the Yemeni people in the face of this blatant aggression. We call on progressive and revolutionary forces worldwide to condemn this new crime, which comes in the context of perpetuating the policy of occupation and imperialist hegemony over the resources of peoples. We also warn of the dangerous repercussions of this military escalation on the stability of the entire region, and we hold the aggressor forces fully responsible for the consequences of this aggression and the decisive and certain response that will follow against American and British forces in the region.
The steadfastness of free peoples in the face of imperialist arrogance will remain the most powerful weapon in the battle for national and social liberation, and we believe that the will of the people is stronger than any colonial war machine.
Glory and immortality to the martyrs… a speedy recovery to the wounded… victory to the resistance… and defeat to imperialism and its agents.

بيان إدانة العدوان الأمريكي-البريطاني على اليمن
يدين الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني بأشد العبارات العدوان الأمريكي-البريطاني الغاشم على اليمن الشقيق، والذي يشكل استمرارًا لنهج الهيمنة والاستعمار الذي تمارسه الإمبريالية العالمية ضد الشعوب الحرة التواقة للاستقلال والسيادة. إن القصف الجوي والبحري الذي يستهدف اليمن بحجة حماية الملاحة البحرية في البحر الأحمر، لا يمكن تبريره بأي شكل من الأشكال، وهو انتهاك صارخ لسيادة اليمن وحقوق شعبه في تقرير مصيره بعيدًا عن التدخلات الخارجية.
إن هذا العدوان يأتي في سياق دعم القوى الإمبريالية المباشر للكيان الصهيوني في عدوانه الوحشي على شعبنا الفلسطيني في غزة، حيث يواصل الاحتلال الصهيوني حصاره الإجرامي على القطاع، في محاولة لتركيع المقاومة وكسر إرادة شعبنا الصامد. إن استهداف اليمن اليوم ما هو إلا ردٌ إمبريالي على موقفه المشرف في مواجهة هذا الحصار، ووقوفه إلى جانب القضية الفلسطينية عبر إغلاقه للملاحة في البحر الأحمر كوسيلة للضغط على القوى الداعمة للاحتلال.
إننا في الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني نؤكد تضامننا الكامل مع الشعب اليمني في وجه هذا العدوان السافر، وندعو القوى التقدمية والثورية في العالم إلى إدانة هذه الجريمة الجديدة التي تأتي في سياق تكريس نهج الاحتلال والهيمنة الإمبريالية على مقدرات الشعوب. كما نحذر من التداعيات الخطيرة لهذا التصعيد العسكري على استقرار المنطقة بأسرها، ونحمّل القوى المعتدية المسؤولية الكاملة عن مآلات هذا العدوان وما سيتبعه من رد حاسم وأكيد ضد القوات الامريكية والبريطانية في المنطقة.
إن صمود الشعوب الحرة في وجه الغطرسة الإمبريالية سيظل السلاح الأقوى في معركة التحرر الوطني والاجتماعي، وإننا نؤمن بأن إرادة الشعوب أقوى من أي آلة حربية استعمارية.
المجد والخلود للشهداء… الشفاء العاجل للجرحى… النصر للمقاومة… والهزيمة للإمبريالية وعملائها.
