Gaza has become an open arena for testing deadly and advanced American weapons. International and local news agencies are circulating terrifying reports about the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip against the defenseless civilian population, and about the brutal crimes practiced by the Zionist entity and its American and European allies alike. The roles are many, but the crime is one. What is happening today in Gaza is unprecedented in previous or current military wars, given the scale of the crimes, destruction, and deliberate killing of defenceless citizens. What makes matters worse is the global silence, especially the Arab one. This indifference has allowed the Zionist entity to persist in violating international humanitarian law, and its record is full of that. It kills whomever it wants, threatens whomever it wants, and no one can blame it, stop it, or hold it accountable.
Moreover, many Arab countries are seeking to normalize relations with it, while Western countries are supplying it with deadly and internationally prohibited weapons under agreements that no longer have value or weight. Gaza areas, especially residential areas, crowded shelters, and hospitals, are witnessing successive military attacks on a daily basis, in which lethal and highly sophisticated weapons are used, leading to the total destruction of buildings, public facilities, and infrastructure, and the contamination of soil and water sources, in addition to the brutal killing of civilians, including women and children. Many residents die under the rubble and debris, without being able to remove their bodies for burial. Many victims also die, and their bodies disappear in exciting ways, charring or turning to ash. Many press reports, observer reports, and testimonies of victims’ relatives have mentioned that among the prohibited weapons whose effects have recently appeared in a striking way are bombs or thermal weapons, which include different types and forms, and are characterized by an incredible ability to destroy human bodies, as they cause bodies to melt or parts of them to evaporate as a result of the high heat generated by these weapons.
During its aggression on Gaza, the occupation army used a variety of internationally banned weapons and ammunition, such as white phosphorus, 2,000-pound GBU-31 bombs, 1,000-pound GBU-32 bombs, 250-pound GBU-39 bombs, 2,000-pound BLU-109/MK 84 bombs, 1,000-pound BLU-110/MK 83 bombs, or 500-pound BLU-111/MK 82 bombs. These bombs can completely destroy fortresses and tall buildings, and the use of these banned weapons has devastating effects on public health and the environment. They also contribute to the exacerbation of humanitarian crises, especially as the civilian population suffers from starvation and a comprehensive siege that has led to a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, and the absence of health care. Thermal weapons can cause massive fires, melt metals, and cause near-total destruction of any object exposed to them. Thermal and vacuum bombs can cause severe burns, tissue destruction, and internal organs. Their use in residential areas can also result in significant human casualties. This type of weapon includes thermobaric bombs and vacuum bombs, in addition to other systems such as thermal missiles. These weapons are used in modern warfare because of their effectiveness in destroying large targets and fortified fortifications, and causing massive damage.
The US military has used various types of these weapons extensively in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq. However, they are considered prohibited weapons and are forbidden to use in wars. As for thermal bombs, or what are known as fire bombs, they use a mixture of chemicals that produce intense heat upon explosion by using small conventional explosives that produce a cloud of highly flammable dust or particles, then a second explosive device ignites the cloud of flammable materials, producing extremely high temperatures of up to about 2500 – 3000 degrees Celsius, and aluminium powder is added to some explosives to enhance the blast wave and overpressure that can reach 73 kg / cm2. This wave is the main reason behind their deadly and destructive effects. This causes severe burns to the skin and internal body parts, and burns the bodies to the point of complete melting or vaporization, especially in areas where the explosion cloud is denser. These thermobaric bombs are usually used against fortified targets, such as military bunkers or industrial facilities. Vacuum bombs, also known as low-pressure bombs, work by drawing air from the surrounding area, creating a temporary vacuum. When the bomb explodes, a high-pressure wave is released, completely destroying the targets. Vacuum bombs are mainly used in military operations against large targets, such as fortified buildings and bunkers, tanks and armorer vehicles. The main effects of thermobaric weapons on the human body due to intense heat include:
A. Murder and serious injury.
The powerful explosions of thermobaric bombs cause immediate death to civilians or serious injuries resulting in loss of limbs, permanent physical disfigurement, peripheral nerve injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and burns. Thousands of Gazans who are hit by these bombs face life-threatening risks due to the need for complex and unavailable medical interventions, in the absence of medical care.
B. Dissolution and evaporation.
Thermal weapons raise body temperatures to high levels, around 2,500-3,000 degrees Celsius, causing human tissue to vaporize rapidly. In many cases, direct exposure to this heat can cause parts of the body to almost completely disappear, as muscle and bone tissue evaporates.
C. Destructive burns.
Thermal weapons cause severe burns that go beyond traditional fire-related burns. Burns from these weapons can result in complete tissue loss, making treatment impossible in some cases.
D. Physiological changes in tissues.
Excessive heat destroys internal tissues, such as blood vessels and vital organs. This heat causes tissues to completely rupture, turning the body into semi-liquid masses.
E. Psychological damage.
In addition to the physical damage, the repeated use of various types of bombs and missiles against civilians leads to psychological suffering and severe depression due to the constant fear of being subjected to random attacks. Children are considered the most affected group.
F. And pollution and poisoning.
When thermonuclear bombs explode, toxic gases and chemical components are released, polluting the air, soil and water resources. Chemicals from explosions, fires and ash residues deteriorate the environment and cause long-term diseases to the population, such as respiratory problems and poisoning.
G. Destruction of vital facilities.
In addition to killing civilians, thermobaric bombs destroy key civilian facilities such as hospitals, schools, shelters, roads, and infrastructure, impeding the delivery of scarce humanitarian aid in light of the comprehensive blockade that all areas of the Gaza Strip are suffering from.
H. Impact on biodiversity resources.
The explosion of thermal bombs leads to the disappearance of biodiversity, wildlife, and vegetation in the areas of operations. It should be said that the war of extermination in Gaza deliberately destroyed agricultural lands and the few natural resources in the Strip due to the narrow space and high population density. Therefore, the destruction of local ecosystems contributes to the annihilation of the natural resources on which the population depends in their daily lives.
During the war of annihilation in Gaza, the Zionist army used these types of weapons, in addition to other types that were not announced. Gaza has become a designated testing ground for new deadly American weapons. Reports on the use of these banned weapons and their impact on civilians have been received from human rights organizations, such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, local hospitals, media sources and citizen testimonies. All of them indicate that thermobaric weapons have been used in military attacks on civilian targets and shelters, and many civilians have been killed and their bodies have been turned to ash. According to some reports, unusual effects have been observed on bodies recovered from bombed areas, as the bodies showed clear signs of evaporation or melting in parts of them. For example, some bodies appeared to have been exposed to heat beyond the body’s ability to adapt, which led to the tissues turning into a liquid state or completely destroying parts of them.
Doctors who examined the bodies confirmed that some of the damage could only be explained by exposure to very high temperatures and chemicals resulting from the use of thermal weapons. In a report published by Amnesty International, it was confirmed that incendiary weapons were used in some attacks against civilians, which led to cases of charring and vaporization of the victims. The use of thermal weapons in wars and military conflicts is a flagrant violation of human rights, especially since these weapons cause inhumane destruction of human bodies. Causing devastating damage of this kind contravenes many international treaties that prohibit the use of prohibited weapons, such as the Geneva Conventions that aim to protect civilians during wars. Human Rights Watch confirmed in its reports that incendiary weapons pose an inhumane threat and that their use against civilians causes great suffering that extends for a long time after the attack, as they cause disfigurement of bodies and cause great psychological harm to the affected community.
It is worth noting that the use of thermal weapons in Gaza is carried out regularly, as part of the comprehensive war of genocide, which makes it necessary for the international community to intervene immediately and more effectively in order to limit their use and pressure the Zionist entity to stop using them against civilians. International humanitarian law prohibits the use of thermal bombs and weapons that cause disproportionate damage or excessive suffering to civilians in populated areas. The Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907, and the Geneva Conventions of 1949 also prohibit the use of thermal bombs.
The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court also classifies the use of thermal bombs as a war crime. However, the United States continues to supply the occupation army with these weapons, which it uses in full view of the international community. This raises the question of how long the Zionist entity will remain above the law, and international legal bodies will remain silent about this inhumane situation in Gaza despite the conviction of its leaders of war crimes, and the issuance of arrest warrants against the former Prime Minister and Minister of War. However, calls are increasing from some countries and some human rights organizations to hold the Zionist entity accountable and condemn its leaders as war criminals. However, the lesson is in the implementation, especially in light of the absence of the Arab voice.

أصبحت غزة ساحة مفتوحة لتجارب الأسلحة الأمريكية الفتاكة والمتطورة. تتناقل وكالات الأنباء العالمية والمحلية تقارير مرعبة عن حرب الإبادة الجماعية في قطاع غزة ضد السكان المدنيين العزل، وعن الإجرام الوحشي الذي يمارسه الكيان الصهيوني وحلفاؤه الأمريكيون والأوروبيون على السواء. تعددت الأدوار والجريمة واحدة. وما يحدث اليوم في غزة، لم يسبق له مثيل في الحروب العسكرية السابقة أو الحالية نظراً لحجم الإجرام والتدمير والقتل المتعمد للمواطنين العُزّل. وما يزيد الطين بلة، الصمت العالمي، وخاصة العربي. هذه اللامبالاة جعلت الكيان الصهيوني يتمادى في انتهاك القانون الدولي الإنساني، وسجله حافل بذلك، يقتل من يريد، ويهدد من يريد، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يلومه أو أن يوقفه أو أن يحاسبه. بل أكثر من ذلك، فإن العديد من الدول العربية تسعى للتطبيع معه، بينما الدول الغربية تزوده بالأسلحة الفتاكة والمحرمة دولياً بموجب اتفاقيات لم يعد لها قيمة أو وزن. وتشهد مناطق غزة، خصوصاً المربعات السكنية ومراكز الإيواء المكتظة، والمستشفيات، الهجمات العسكرية المتتالية بشكل يومي، وتستخدم فيها أسلحة فتاكة ومتطورة جداً تؤدي إلى تدمير شامل للمباني والمرافق العامة والبنى التحتية وتلوث التربة ومصادر المياه، بالإضافة إلى قتل وحشي للمدنيين بما في ذلك النساء والأطفال. الكثير من السكان يموتون تحت الردم والركام، دون التمكن من إخراج جثثهم من أجل دفنها. كذلك فإن الكثيرين أيضاً من الضحايا يموتون، وتختفي جثثهم بطرق مثيرة، تتفحم أو تتحول إلى رماد. وقد ذكرت الكثير من التقارير الصحفية وتقارير المراقبين وشهادات أقارب الضحايا أن من بين الأسلحة المحرمة التي ظهرت آثارها مؤخراً بشكل لافت للنظر القنابل أو الأسلحة الحرارية، التي تشمل أنواعاً وأشكالاً مختلفة، وتتميز بقدرة هائلة على تدمير الأجسام البشرية بشكل لا يُصدّق، حيث تؤدي إلى ذوبان الجثث أو تبخر أجزاء منها نتيجة الحرارة العالية التي تولدها هذه الأسلحة. لقد استخدم جيش الاحتلال خلال عدوانه على غزة مجموعة متنوعة من الأسلحة والذخائر المحرمة دولياً، مثل الفسفور الأبيض، وقنابل من طراز (GBU-31) زنة 2000 رطل، و (GBU-32) زنة 1000 رطل، و(GBU-39) زنة 250 رطلاً، وقنابلBLU-109/MK 84 زنة 2000 رطل، أو BLU-110/MK 83 زنة 1000 رطل، أو BLU-111/MK 82 زنة 500 رطل . هذه القنابل تستطيع تدمير الحصون والمباني العالية بالكامل، ويؤدي استخدام هذه الأسلحة المحظورة إلى آثار مدمرة على الصحة العامة وعلى البيئة. وتُساهم أيضاً في تفاقم الأزمات الإنسانية، خصوصاً وأن السكان المدنيين يعانون من التجويع والحصار الشامل الذي أدى إلى نقص شديد في الأدوية والمواد الطبية، وغياب الرعاية الصحية. ويمكن أن تتسبب الأسلحة الحرارية في حرائق ضخمة، بالإضافة إلى قدرتها على إذابة المعادن، وتسبب تدميراً شبه كامل لأي كائن يتعرض لها. ويمكن أن تسبب القنابل الحرارية والفراغية حروقاً شديدة، وتدميراً للأنسجة، والأعضاء الداخلية. كما أن استخدامها في المناطق السكنية يمكن أن يؤدي إلى خسائر بشرية كبيرة. هذا النوع من الأسلحة يشمل القنابل الحرارية (Thermobaric Bombs) ، والقنابل الفراغية (Vacuum Bombs) ، بالإضافة إلى أنظمة أخرى مثل الصواريخ الحرارية. تُستخدم هذه الأسلحة في الحروب الحديثة بسبب فعاليتها في تدمير الأهداف الكبيرة والتحصينات المنيعة، وتسببها في أضرار جسيمة. وقد استخدم الجيش الأمريكي أنواعاً مختلفة من هذه الأسلحة على نطاق واسع في فيتنام وفي أفغانستان والعراق. غير أنها تعتبر من الأسلحة المحظورة والمحرم استخدامها في الحروب. أما القنابل الحرارية، أو ما يعرف بالقنابل النارية، فهي تستخدم مزيجاً من المواد الكيميائية التي تنتج حرارة شديدة عند الانفجار من خلال استخدام متفجرات تقليدية صغيرة تعمل على إنتاج سحابة من الغبار أو الجسيمات شديدة الاشتعال، ثم يقوم جهاز متفجر ثان بإشعال سحابة المواد القابلة للاشتعال، حيث ينتج عنها درجات عالية للغاية من الحرارة تصل إلى نحو 2500 – 3000 درجة مئوية، ويتم إضافة مسحوق الألمنيوم إلى بعض المتفجرات لتعزيز موجة الانفجار والضغط الزائد الذي يمكن أن يصل إلى 73 كغ/سم2. هذه الموجة هي السبب الرئيس وراء تأثيراتها القاتلة والمدمرة. وهذا ما يتسبب في حرق شديد للجلد وأجزاء الجسم الداخلية، وحرق الجثث إلى حد الذوبان الكامل أو التبخر، وخاصة في المناطق حيث تكون سحابة الانفجار أكثر كثافة. وتُستخدم هذه القنابل الحرارية عادةً ضد الأهداف المحصنة، مثل المخابئ العسكرية أو المنشآت الصناعية. بينما القنابل الفراغية، وتُعرف أيضاً باسم القنابل ذات الضغط المنخفض، تعمل على سحب الهواء من المنطقة المحيطة بها، مما يؤدي إلى وجود فراغ مؤقت. وعند انفجار القنبلة، يتم إطلاق موجة من الضغط العالي، مما يؤدي إلى تدمير الأهداف بشكل شامل. تُستخدم القنابل الفراغية بشكل رئيس في العمليات العسكرية ضد الأهداف الكبيرة، مثل المباني المحصنة والمخابئ، والدبابات والمركبات المدرعة. وتشمل التأثيرات الرئيسة للأسلحة الحرارية على الأجسام البشرية جَرّاء الحرارة الشديدة ما يلي:
أ. القتل والإصابات الخطيرة.
تؤدي الانفجارات القوية للقنابل الحرارية إلى الوفاة الفورية للمدنيين أو الإصابات الخطيرة التي تؤدي إلى فقد أعضاء من الجسم وتشوهات جسدية دائمة، وإصابات الأعصاب الطرفية وإصابات النخاع الشوكي وإصابات الدماغ والحروق. الآلاف من سكان غزة، الذين يصابون بهذه القنابل يواجهون مخاطر تهدد استمرار حياتهم بسبب الحاجة إلى تدخلات طبية معقدة وغير متوفرة، في ظل انعدام الرعاية الطبية.
ب. الذوبان والتبخر.
تعمل الأسلحة الحرارية على رفع درجات حرارة الجسم إلى مستويات عالية، نحو 2500 – 3000 درجة مئوية، مما تجعل الأنسجة البشرية تتبخر بسرعة. وفي كثير من الحالات، فإن التعرض المباشر لهذه الحرارة قد يؤدي إلى اختفاء أجزاء من الجسم بشكل شبه كامل، حيث تتبخر الأنسجة العضلية والعظمية.
ج. الحروق المدمرة.
تسبب الأسلحة الحرارية حروقًا شديدة تتجاوز الحروق التقليدية التي تنتج عن النيران. الحروق الناتجة عن هذه الأسلحة قد تؤدي إلى فقدان الأنسجة بشكل كامل، مما يجعل علاج المصابين أمراً مستحيلاً في بعض الحالات.
د. تحولات فسيولوجية في الأنسجة.
تؤدي الحرارة المفرطة إلى تدمير الأنسجة الداخلية، مثل الأوعية الدموية والأعضاء الحيوية. هذه الحرارة تتسبب في تمزق الأنسجة بشكل كامل، وتحويل الجسم إلى كتل شبه سائلة.
ه. الأضرار النفسية.
بجانب الأضرار الجسدية، يؤدي الاستخدام المتكرر لمختلف أنواع القنابل والصواريخ، ضد المدنيين إلى معاناة نفسية واكتئاب حاد بسبب خوف السكان الدائم من التعرض للهجمات العشوائية. ويعتبر الأطفال أكثر الفئات تأثراً.
و. التلوث والتسمم.
عند انفجار القنابل الحرارية، تنطلق كميات من الغازات السامة والمكونات الكيميائية، مما يؤدي إلى تلوث الهواء والتربة وموارد المياه. المواد الكيميائية الناجمة عن الانفجارات والحرائق وبقايا الرماد تؤدي إلى تدهور البيئة، وتسبب الأمراض على المدى الطويل للسكان، مثل مشاكل التنفس والتسمم.
ز. تدمير المنشآت الحيوية.
بالإضافة إلى قتل المدنيين تؤدي القنابل الحرارية إلى تدمير المنشآت المدنية الرئيسة مثل المستشفيات، والمدارس، ومراكز الإيواء، والطرقات، ومنشآت البنى التحتية مما يعيق وصول المساعدات الإنسانية الشحيحة في ظل الحصار الشامل الذي تعاني منه كافة المناطق في قطاع غزة.
ح. التأثير على موارد التنوع الحيوي.
يؤدي انفجار القنابل الحرارية إلى اختفاء موارد التنوع الحيوي والحياة البرية، والغطاء النباتي في مناطق العمليات. وينبغي القول إن حرب الإبادة في غزة دمرت بشكل متعمد الأراضي الزراعية، والموارد الطبيعية القليلة في القطاع نتيجة ضيق المساحة والكثافة السكانية العالية. ولذلك فإن تدمير الأنظمة البيئية المحلية يساهم في إبادة الموارد الطبيعية التي يعتمد عليها السكان في حياتهم اليومية.
استخدم الجيش الصهيوني خلال حرب الإبادة الشاملة في غزة هذه الأنواع من الأسلحة، بالإضافة إلى أنواع أخرى لم يعلن عنها. فقد أصبحت غزة منطقة مخصصة لتجارب الأسلحة الأمريكية الفتاكة الجديدة. لقد وردت تقارير عن حالات استخدام هذه الأسلحة المحظورة وأثرها على المدنيين من منظمات حقوق الإنسان، مثل منظمة العفو الدولية (Amnesty International)، ومنظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش (Human Rights Watch)، والمستشفيات المحلية ، والمصادر الإعلامية وشهادات المواطنين. جميعها تُشير إلى أن الأسلحة الحرارية قد تم استخدامها في الهجمات العسكرية على الأهداف المدنية ومراكز الإيواء، وراح ضحيتها العديد من المدنيين الذين تحولت جثثهم إلى رماد. ووفقاً لبعض التقارير، تمت مشاهدة آثار غير مألوفة على الجثث التي انتشلت من مناطق القصف، حيث أظهرت الجثث علامات واضحة من التبخر أو الذوبان في أجزاء منها. على سبيل المثال، بعض الجثث كانت تبدو كأنها تعرضت لحرارة تفوق قدرة الجسم على التكيف معها، ما أدى إلى تحول الأنسجة إلى حالتها السائلة أو تدمير أجزاء منها بشكل كامل. الأطباء الذين عاينوا الجثث أكدوا أن بعض الأضرار لا يمكن أن تفسر إلا من خلال التعرض لدرجات حرارة عالية جداً ومواد كيميائية ناتجة عن استخدام أسلحة حرارية. وفي تقرير نشرته منظمة العفو الدولية، تم التأكيد على أن هناك استخداماً للأسلحة الحارقة في بعض الهجمات ضد المدنيين، ما أدى إلى حالات من التفحم والتبخر في الضحايا. يُعد استخدام الأسلحة الحرارية في الحروب والنزاعات العسكرية انتهاكاً فاضحاً للحقوق الإنسانية، خاصة وأن هذه الأسلحة تتسبب في تدمير الأجسام البشرية بشكل غير إنساني. إن التسبب في أضرار مدمرة من هذا النوع يتعارض مع العديد من المعاهدات الدولية التي تحظر استخدام الأسلحة المحرمة، مثل اتفاقيات جنيف التي تهدف إلى حماية المدنيين أثناء الحروب. منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش أكدت في تقاريرها أن الأسلحة الحارقة تمثل تهديدًا غير إنساني وأن استخدامها ضد المدنيين يتسبب في معاناة كبيرة تمتد لفترة طويلة بعد الهجوم، إذ تتسبب في تشويه الأجسام والتسبب في أضرار نفسية كبيرة للمجتمع المتضرر.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن استخدام الأسلحة الحرارية في غزة، يتم بشكل منتظم، كجزء من حرب الإبادة الجماعية الشاملة، مما يجعل من الضروري أن يتدخل المجتمع الدولي فوراً وبشكل أكثر فاعلية من أجل الحد من استخدامها والضغط على الكيان الصهيوني من أجل وقف استخدامها ضد المدنيين. القانون الدولي الإنساني يحظر استخدام القنابل الحرارية والأسلحة التي تسبب أضراراً غير متناسبة أو معاناة مفرطة للمدنيين في المناطق المأهولة بالسكان. كذلك اتفاقيات لاهاي لعامي 1899 و1907، واتفاقيات جنيف لعام 1949. كما يصنف نظام روما للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية استخدام القنابل الحرارية كجريمة حرب. ومع ذلك، فإن الولايات المتحدة ما زالت تزود جيش الاحتلال بهذه الأسلحة التي يستخدمها على مرأى ومسمع المجتمع الدولي. وهذا ما يثير التساؤل إلى متى يبقى الكيان الصهيوني فوق القانون، وتبقى الهيئات القانونية الدولية صامتة إزاء هذا الوضع اللاإنساني في غزة بالرغم من إدانة قادته بجرائم الحرب، وإصدار مذكرات جلب بحق رئيس الحكومة ووزير الحرب السابق. ومع ذلك، تتزايد الدعوات من قبل بعض الدول وبعض المنظمات الحقوقية لمحاسبة الكيان الصهيوني وإدانة قادته كمجرمي حرب. إلا أن العبرة في التطبيق خاصة في ظل غياب الصوت العربي.
