Media Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine warned Britain, or any other country, against deploying any forces on the land or coast of the Gaza Strip, stressing that these forces will be treated as occupying forces, and will be legitimate targets for the Resistance. The Front added that the people will not forget the major crime committed by Britain against the Palestinian people through its main contribution to the establishment of the Zionist entity, after issuing the ill-fated Balfour Declaration, and its continuation to this day in supporting the Occupation and its war crimes.
Therefore, our people will deal with Britain as a hostile party and an Occupying Force. The Front explained that Britain’s justifications for deploying these forces to help deliver Humanitarian Aid to Gaza via a new sea corridor, according to what was published by the British Broadcasting Corporation, are a lie that does not deceive anyone, and is a justification for the permanent presence of military forces on the ground for malicious colonial goals – protecting the security of the Zionist entity.
This is something our people and their Resistance are well aware of. At the conclusion of its statement, the Front pledged that the Resistance would confront any presence or interference from any invading State or military force under humanitarian and relief rhetoric, stressing that whoever wants to provide relief to the Palestinian people must press to stop the Zionist aggression, break the siege, and bring in relief aid through the official crossings in the Gaza Strip and under Palestinian management and supervision.

الجبهة الشعبية تُحذر بريطانيا أو أي دولة أخرى من نشر أي قوات على أرض أو ساحل قطاع غزة

حذرت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين بريطانيا، أو أي دولة أخرى من نشر أي قوات على أرض أو ساحل قطاع غزة، مؤكدةً أنه سيتم التعامل مع هذه القوات بأنها قوات احتلال، وستكون أهدافًا مشروعة للمقاومة.
وأضافت الجبهة أن شعبنا لن ينسى الجريمة الكبرى التي ارتكبتها بريطانيا بحق الشعب الفلسطيني بمساهمتها الرئيسة في إنشاء الكيان الصهيوني، بعد إصدار وعد بلفور المشؤوم، واستمرارها حتى اليوم في دعم الاحتلال وجرائمه؛ لذلك فإن شعبنا سيتعامل مع بريطانيا بأنها طرف معادي وقوة احتلال.
وأوضحت الجبهة أن تبريرات بريطانيا بنشر هذه القوات للمساعدة في توصيل المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة عبر ممر بحري جديد حسب ما نشرته هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية، هي كذبة لا تنطلي على أحد، وهي مبرر لتواجد قوات عسكرية على الأرض بشكلٍ دائم لأهدافٍ استعمارية خبيثة ولحماية أمن الكيان الصهيوني، وهوما يعيه شعبنا ومقاومته جيدًا.
وتعهدت الجبهة في ختام بيانها بأن المقاومة ستتصدى لأي تواجد أو تدخل من أي دولة أو قوات عسكرية غازية تحت مسميات إنسانية وإغاثية، مؤكدةً أن من يريد إغاثة الشعب الفلسطيني عليه أن يضغط من أجل وقف العدوان وكسر الحصار، وإدخال المساعدات الاغاثية عبر المعابر الرسمية في القطاع وتحت إدارة وإشراف فلسطيني.
