The Melbourne-Australia Organization of the Lebanese Communist Party held a Dinner Party on the occasion of May 1st, International Labour Day, attended by dozens of comrades and friends, including the Secretary-General of the Australian Communist Party, Andrew Irving, who gave a speech in which he saluted the struggle of the Palestinian people and stressed that his Party stands by the Palestinian Cause.
After the Lebanese National Anthem, the Party Anthem, and a welcoming speech from Comrade Jalal Abu Fakhr, Comrade Jean Younis delivered a speech by the Melbourne organization in the Party and stressed the necessity of building a political project in Lebanon capable of changing the balance of power to move from a sectarian quota State to a Secular, Democratic State, a State premised upon Social Justice.

منظمة ملبورن – أستراليا في الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني تحيي حفل عشاء لمناسبة الاول من ايار

أحيت منظمة ملبورن – أستراليا في الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني حفل عشاء لمناسبة الاول من ايار، عيد العمال العالمي حضره عشرات الرفاق والأصدقاء، من بينهم الأمين العام للحزب الشيوعي الأسترالي أندرو ارفينغ الذي ألقى كلمة حيّا فيها نضال الشعب الفلسطيني وأكد على وقوف حزبه إلى جانب القضية الفلسطينية. وبعد النشيد الوطني اللبناني ونشيد الحزب وكلمة ترحيبية من الرفيق جلال أبو فخر، ألقى الرفيق جان يونس كلمة منظمة ملبورن في الحزب وشدّد على ضرورة بناء مشروع سياسي في لبنان قادر على تغيير موازين القوى للانتقال من دولة المحاصصة الطائفية إلى دولة علمانية ديمقراطية، دولة العدالة الإجتماعية.
