Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Bashar Al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, on March 10th, 2024.
The Syrian President in the message expressed deep thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for sending congratulations on the occasion of the March 8th Revolution Day.
We are grateful to Kim Jong Un for supporting the Syrian people in their struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve its territorial integrity, the message noted.
Expressing belief that the friendly relations between Syria and the DPRK would continue to develop on good terms, the message affirmed that they would make joint efforts to further boost the bilateral cooperation in the interests of the two countries and two peoples. (End)
