“I Will Not Be Re-Constructed – And I Do Not Give A Damn!“
Veterans of the Armed Forces of Confederate States of America (CSA) – [1861-1865] – for decades resisted and refused to be associated with the Yankee political right-wing, the contemporary far-right or any association attempting to usurp the Confederate Cause for their own nefarious ends! This was the case with the odious Ku Klux Klan – but after all the CSA Veterans had passed away post-1945 – this open resistance to far-right revisionism passed into history – although the descendants of CSA soldiers did voice their discontent – and still do.
Such protests are stifled by the mainstream Bourgeois powers that be which like to portray the Confederate Cause as something akin to Nazi Germany – when Native Americans, African Americans and even Chinese people volunteered to wear the grey uniform and stand-up to Lincoln’s ‘Federalist’ agenda! This sort to make the USA exactly like the European States it had shrugged-off in 1776! As for racism, it was as strong in the North as in the South (as was Slavery) and even after the victory of the ‘Union’ in 1865 – lynching and racism continued unabated – with racism still functioning strongly in contemporary America (protected and perpetuated by the ‘White’ Police Force).
