DPRK: Standing Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Held! (6.11.2023}

A standing meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was held.

At the executive meeting various issues were discussed regarding the establishment of a Missile Industry Day – the transition of the Ministry of Education into the Education Committee – and matters regarding Amendments and Supplements to the Tidal Area Act and the River Act.

The establishment of Missile Industry Day marks a special event in our sacred journey of National Defense development – set as remembering November 18th, Juche 111 (2022), when, under the leadership of the Great Central Committee of the Workers’ Party, we demonstrated to the world the majesty of a world-class nuclear power and a nation possessing the strongest intercontinental ballistic missiles. It will forever be recorded as a day in history and is a manifestation of the unwavering will of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Government of the Democratic Republic, and the entire people of the country – to further solidify our country’s inexhaustible national power!

At the Standing Meeting, the issue of replacing the Ministry of Education with the Education Committee was discussed. The Supreme People’s Assembly deliberated and adopted on June 23th, Juche 99 (2010) the Standing Committee issued Decree No. 915 regarding the stricture of the “Ministry of Education of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” – but at this meeting It was decided to abolish this Decree (effective immediately) due to the “Reorganization of the Education Committee of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”

In the Tidal Flats Act, legal requirements for tidal flat construction and management were revised and supplemented, with matters decided to actively protect rivers and further improve the ecological environment were newly regulated in the River Act.

The Standing Meeting deliberated on proposed bills and passed the relevant Decrees for the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly to consider – regarding “On the Establishment of Missile Industry Day in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,” “On the Establishment of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s Education Committee as the Replacement of the Ministry of Education,” and “On Amending and Supplementing the Tidal Flats Act of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” and “On Amending and Supplementing the River Act of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” – all of which were unanimously adopted. 조선민주주의인민공화국 최고인민회의 상임위원회 상무회의 진행

조선민주주의인민공화국 최고인민회의 상임위원회 상무회의가 진행되였다.

상무회의에는 미싸일공업절을 제정함에 관한 문제,교육위원회를 교육성으로 할데 대한 문제와 간석지법,하천법 등의 수정보충에 관한 문제들이 상정되였다.

미싸일공업절의 제정은 위대한 당중앙의 령도밑에 세계적인 핵강국,최강의 대륙간탄도미싸일보유국의 위용을 만천하에 떨친 주체111(2022)년 11월 18일을 우리식 국방발전의 성스러운 려정에서 특기할 대사변이 이룩된 력사의 날로 영원히 기록하며 우리 국가의 무진막강한 국력을 더욱 억척같이 다져나갈 조선로동당과 공화국정부,온 나라 전체 인민의 확고부동한 의지의 발현으로 된다.

상무회의에서는 교육위원회를 교육성으로 할데 대한 문제를 심의하고 고등교육성과 주체99(2010)년 6월 23일에 채택된 최고인민회의 상임위원회 정령 제915호 《조선민주주의인민공화국 교육성을 조선민주주의인민공화국 교육위원회로 개편함에 대하여》의 효력을 없애기로 결정하였다.

간석지법에서는 간석지건설과 관리에서 나서는 법적요구들이 수정보충되였으며 하천을 적극 보호하고 생태환경을 더욱 개선하는데서 반드시 준수해야 할 사항들이 하천법에 새롭게 규제되였다.

상무회의는 상정된 의안들을 심의하고 최고인민회의 상임위원회 정령 《조선민주주의인민공화국 미싸일공업절을 제정함에 대하여》,《조선민주주의인민공화국 교육위원회를 조선민주주의인민공화국 교육성으로 함에 대하여》와 《조선민주주의인민공화국 간석지법을 수정보충함에 대하여》,《조선민주주의인민공화국 하천법을 수정보충함에 대하여》 등을 전원찬성으로 채택하였다.(끝)
