There is a ‘slapstick’ quality to the physical actions and violence caused – coupled with the sheer comic ‘indifference’ of the perpetuator! As part of the attempted ‘dehumanisation’ of China by Western commentary – the ‘lie’ is being spread that the Chinese Police ‘refused’ to act – and only did so following extensive public concern! This is a racialised nonsense designed to make the Police seem indifferent to the suffering of the people this entity serves. The Western media would rather have you believe that the Chinese Police exists to brutalise the masses at the behest of the Chinese State! Not so. Zheng Moucheng clearly broke the law – and is paying for his misguided action! As to why there is a ‘slipping on a banana-skin’ type quality to all this is something of a mystery! Hunan: A man poured engine-oil on the stairs of a local Gymnasium – causing many people to fall and be injured – the Police have reported!

On the evening of September 12th, 2023, a man in Dao County, Hunan Province, PRC – poured engine-oil on the stairs of a Yongzhou gymnasium – as part of an onging ‘noise’ dispute with the owner of the Gymnamsium (surnamed ‘Zhang’ [张]). On the 14th, the person in charge of the gymnasium said that the man (a merchant) worked downstairs and had previously lodged a number of disputes due to what he referred to as issues of ‘noise’. The Local Authorities, having investigated these complaints, eventually ruled that their was NO excessive ‘noise’ emanating from the gymnasium. Following the criminal act of Zheng Mouchemg – three people were injured that night – when they slipped and fell on the stairs. If a pregnant woman (or an elderly person) had fallen on the oil-smeared steps- then a far-greater tragedy might well have occured! On September 14th, the Dao County Public Security Bureau issued an official notice stating:
‘At around 20:00 hrs on September 12th, 2023 – the Chengbei Police Station section of our Security Bureau – received a call from the concerned masses stating that a male suspect had poured engine oil on the stairs of the first floor of a fitness club located on Heyi Road (causing three people to fall and be injured). The Public Security Organs immediately conducted an on the spot investigation. It was found that – Zhang Moucheng (张某成) – was guilty of spilling the engine-oil – a resident of a nearby community. He was dissatisfied with the noise emanating from the fitness club and so decided to spill engine-oil in retaliation. At present, due to his criminal behaviour – Zhang Moucheng – has been sentenced to “12-days Administrative Detention” by the Public Security Organs in accordance with the law.’
