The Lebanese-Palestinian Coordination Committee for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners held its periodic meeting on Thursday 6.4.2023 – and issued the following statement(s):
First: The Commission congratulates the entire Islamic nation on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan – praying to the honourable Lord that it be the month of victory for Palestine and the Palestinian people over the Zionist Occupier – which is a victory for the entire nation!
Second: The Commission condemns – in the strongest terms – the daily attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque! Violence initiated by flocks of Zionist settlers who act with impunity under the protection of the Zionist police! This action constitutes a serious threat to the identity of the mosque and of historic Jerusalem!
Third: The commission also condemns the terrible treatment the believers stationed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque are subjected to in terms of abuse, brutal attacks and arbitrary arrests! This behaviour reflects racism, fascism and sadism on the part of the Zionist enemy – which has never adhered to international or humanitarian covenants! We call upon all Human Rights organizations that claim to uphold the slogan of ‘humanity’ to do their part, so that the Zionist criminality does not remain! The Israeli attempts to convert Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Temple Mount) into exclusively ‘Jewish’ sites of worship is a Crime Against Humanity! Zionists are doing this by killing the Palestinian people!
Fourth: We declare our full support for the benevolent Palestinian people who have never been reticent in offering their finest youth, children and women for the sake of the (Revolutionary) liberation of Palestine! We also extend our greetings to our mothers in Palestine who gave birth to a resistant generation that does not fear death for the sake of its land!
Fifth: The commission salutes the prisoners who are fighting the battle of Unity in the face of the Zionist enemy – especially Sheikh Khader Adnan – and the thinker and leader Walid Daqqa, wishing him (and all sick prisoners) recovery!
They also discussed the activities that will be held to commemorate the Palestinian and Arab Prisoners’ Day this month – provided that they start with a central activity after Eid Al-Fitr – on Wednesday 26.4.2023. Glory to the martyrs – healing to the wounded – and freedom to the brave prisoners!

عقدت هيئة التنسيق اللبنانية الفلسطينية للأسرى والمحررين اجتماعها الدوري، يوم الخميس في 6/4/2023، وقد صدر عن المجتمعين البيان الآتي:
– أوّلًا: تبارك الهيئة للأمة الإسلامية جمعاء حلول شهر رمضان المبارك، سائلة المولى الكريم ان يكون شهر انتصار فلسطين والشعب الفلسطيني على المحتل الصهيوني، والذي هو انتصار للأمة جمعاء.
– ثانياً: تدين الهيئة بأشد العبارات ما يتعرض له المسجد الأقصى من اعتداءات يومية، من قبل قطعان المستوطنين وبحماية الشرطة الصهيونية، مما يشكل تهديدا جدياً على هوية المسجد والقدس التاريخية.
-ثالثاً: كما تدين الهيئة ما يتعرض له المؤمنون المرابطون في المسجد الأقصى من تنكيل واعتداءات وحشية واعتقالات تعسفية تنم عن العنصرية والفاشية والسادية لدى العدو الصهيوني الذي لم يلتزم يوماً بمواثيق دولية أو إنسانية، داعية المنظمات الحقوقية التي تحمل شعارات الإنسانية، القيام بدورها حتى لا تبقى شريكاً للعدو الصهيوني بتهويد المسجد الأقصى والقدس الشريف وحتى لا تبقى شريكاً بقتل أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني الصامد في أرضه.
– رابعاً: نعلن دعماً الكامل للشعب الفلسطيني المعطاء الذي لم يبخل يوماً بتقديم خيرة شبابه وأطفاله ونسائه، من أجل تحرير فلسطين، كما نوجه تحياتنا لأمهاتنا في فلسطين الذين أنجبوا جيلاً مقاوماً لا يخشى الموت في سبيل أرضه.
– خامسا: توجهت الهيئة بتحية إجلال وإكبار للأسرى يخوضون معركة الوحدة في وجه العدو الصهيوني، وخصت بالذكر الشيخ خضر عدنان، والقائد المفكر وليد دقة، متمنية له الشفاء ولجميع الأسرى المرضى
كما تم البحث في الأنشطة التي ستقام من أجل إحياء يوم الأسير الفلسطيني والعربي في هذا الشهر، على أن تبدأ بنشاط مركزي بعد عيد الفطر المبارك، وذلك نهار الأربعاء في 26/4/2023.
