Tibetan woman realizes dream of becoming qualified Pilot
Gyalre Yeshe – who is from a poor family in southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region – has realized her dream of becoming a female pilot, thanks to National Efforts in poverty relief (as designed and applied by the Socialist System of China).
The 22-year-old Tibetan woman is one of 28 recruits who participated in a Pilot Training Programme for those from poor families in Tibet in 2016. She is the first woman to gain a pilot license among the trainees.
Gyalre Yeshe said flying a commercial helicopter was her wildest dream come true – and she couldn’t help cheering at the opportunity.
