Laos Buddhist-Socialist Republic: Prime Minister Meets Foreign Minister of Hungary! (30.4.2023)

Laos-Hungary interaction has possessed a good cooperative relationship for a long time, which has been continuously enhanced and upgraded to a strategic partnership in 2019 – a process which has included the reopening of the Embassy of the Laos PDR in Hungary in November 2022 – an event coinciding with the occasion of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Laos-Hungary diplomatic relations! This signifies an important milestone and confirms the Buddhist-Socialist policy practiced by the Laos government – which is designed to continue to strengthen and enhance relations with friendship! Hungary is also continuing to promote cooperation between the two countries at a new positive level! At the same time, the Prime Minister represented the government and people of Laos and expressed his sincere gratitude for the help and support of Hungary which has contributed significantly to the outstanding socio-economic development of the Laos PDR – as well as informing the Hungarian side about the preparation of Laos PDR’s for its 3rd ASEAN Chairmanship in 2024!

District People’s Court must be strengthened to be a good service provider, a pure and transparent administration acting with honesty and a pure and faithful intet toward the profession! This requires paying attention to training court staff to be knowledgeable, ethical, moral and professional in performing their duties, especially judges who are arbitrators on cases considered very important because such judgments and arbitrations touch the life, health, freedom, dignity and rights and legitimate interests of the People! There must be a paying attention to coordination and discussion with the relevant parties of the prosecution according to the process of justice, especially the District People’s Prosecutor’s Office, the District Justice Office, the National Police Officer and other parties involved in the consideration of solving cases that are difficult, complicated, and related to many problems!

Comrade Thongsavanh Phom Sengsincerely appreciated visit of the Laos Communist Party, the Committee of the Communist Party and Committee of the Communist Party Laos-Vietnam special friendship relationship; A message from Comrade Bounthong Chitmani, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Party, Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice President of the Laos Communist Party was delivered to Comrade Truong Thimai; Comrade Thongsavanh Phom Seng also reported on the current situation in his country; Appreciated the cooperation between the two Parties and the two States in the past; Expressing gratitude for the valuable support and assistance to the Party, State and People of Laos during the struggle to save the nation as well as the current period of protecting the nation; Confirmed the intention to cooperate with the Foreign Relations Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam to increase Laos-Vietnamese friendly relations – so that they grow more and more each day.

Chinese Vice Premier Meets Laos Deputy Prime Minister! (18.4.2023)

China is ready to work with Laos to make the China-Laos Railway more promising, continue to deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges, jointly safeguard regional prosperity and stability, and push for new achievements in practical cooperation, Ding said.

For his part, Saleumxay thanked China for its support and assistance for Laos’ economic and social development, adding that Laos firmly supports and actively participates in the major initiatives and concepts proposed by China.

Laos is ready to strengthen bilateral practical cooperation in various fields, build well a Laos-China community with a shared future, and promote the development of the cause of socialism, Saleumxay said.

The New Buddhist Year of 2566 is about to start – it is another year in which we still have to face obstacles and challenges! Therefore, I would like to call on the entire Communist Party, the State, the Armed Forces and all the People of Laos to preserve and enhance the good (Buddhist) heritage of our nation, to enhance the unity that is a already strong bond, to focus all our strength through encouragement and intelligence in the mission of protecting and developing our nation, and to push the implementation of the two National Agendas (Buddhist and Socialist) into a more formal and integrated order as a means of self-strengthening – in this way we can create a strong and deep transformation in all fields of work in the coming year!

Laos Buddhist-Socialist Republic: Ta Bin Hydroelectricity Company – Pak Bang -Donates Vital Supplies to Local Villages! (11.4.2023)

The company realized that a number of people in Champa Village are still very poor – and motivated by Buddhist-Socialist morality – they mobilized all the company’s employees to contribute both materials and resources!

This included clothes, shoes, soccer balls, baskets of food and learning materials such as pens and writing books, etc. On the occasion of the handing over the donations to the village Administration – the person in charge of the company pointed out that the outbreak of the Covid-19 disease has created difficulties for the lives of ordinary people. Seeing this difficulty, the company, which has been investing in Laos for more than 10 years, wanted to contribute to the socio-economic (Socialist) development of Laos society!
