Cancer Medicine Defeats US Blockade!

Cuba: Anti-Cancer “Cytostatic Production” Reactivated in Defiance of US Blockade! (8.6.2026) 

For her part, Mayda Mauri Pérez underscored the current moment and highlighted the solid alliance between the biopharmaceutical and health sectors as an essential pillar to sustain the supply of cancer drugs to the Cuban population, despite the intensification of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States.

The visit was also attended by medical oncologists, who exchanged criteria with the managers on therapeutic priorities, thus ensuring that the production responds directly to the clinical needs of patients.

The reactivation of this plant is not an isolated event: it is an eloquent example of how the Cuban biotechnology industry and the Public Health System work in total alliance, under the same objective: to guarantee the coverage of essential medicines at the most pressing time. In a country that faces externally induced shortages, each drug produced in this plant represents sovereignty, hope and commitment to the right to health of all Cubans.

Cuba: Actions Intensify to Prevent & Confront US-Inspired Crime! (19.5.2026)

There is a US-financed (it is all about money – and has always been about money for the Yankee Imperialists) Fifth Column operating within the Cuban Mainland. These individual men and women have secret ties to the US government which rewards their families living in the US and guarantees an affluent retirement when their destructive work is over. The propaganda against Socialist Cuba is seen everywhere in the West – even fictitious crime-dramas like “Dexter” – which whilst conveying the psychopathic tendencies of a forensic expert working for the police, still manages to present “Cuba” (and “Cubans”) as being hopelessly impoverished and just waiting for an opportunity of literally “throwing” their immaciated bodies into the sea and somehow “floating” to US shores (where Dexter is waiting to kill the survivors and stockpile their remains in a convenient warehouse). This is not an exaggerated racist trope – and we had to stop watching (consuming) this show as a protest. Cuban sportspeople – often dominant Boxers – are portrayed as drug-riddled lunatics who win not because Socialism generates a superior person – but because their system is deficient and insane. A small group of ultra-rightists who have hijacked the policy towards Cuba and lie or deliberately and cynically misinform about the Cuban reality, while demanding more suffocation and threats against our people, fear this improvement.

Our response remains the same: always willing to dialogue on equal terms, we will continue to resist and create, convinced more and more that it is up to us to overcome the enormous difficulties with our own efforts, united as a nation, and firm to face the most difficult challenges.

US Fascism Has Been Attack Cuba for Decades!

Cuba: Blockade Upon Blockade: Collective Punishment Increases! (7.5.2026)

Logically, the key sectors of the economy continue to be a direct target, such as energy, the military or defense, metals and mining, security and finance, but it does not mean that they are the only ones, because they are charged against those who provide substantial aid, financial, material and technological support. In other words, anyone can be subject to sanctions, and the result is to prevent people from entering Cuba from the large investment to that individual help that provides the medicine that a sick child urgently needs. Because the blockade and each new order, measures or strategies that expand it, that extend its scope, do nothing more than accentuate the suffering of a people, in whose collective punishment they have been committed sick with hatred and impotence.
