The New Buddhist Year of 2566 is about to start – it is another year in which we still have to face obstacles and challenges! Therefore, I would like to call on the entire Communist Party, the State, the Armed Forces and all the People of Laos to preserve and enhance the good (Buddhist) heritage of our nation, to enhance the unity that is a already strong bond, to focus all our strength through encouragement and intelligence in the mission of protecting and developing our nation, and to push the implementation of the two National Agendas (Buddhist and Socialist) into a more formal and integrated order as a means of self-strengthening – in this way we can create a strong and deep transformation in all fields of work in the coming year!

Laos Buddhist-Socialist Republic: Ta Bin Hydroelectricity Company – Pak Bang -Donates Vital Supplies to Local Villages! (11.4.2023)

The company realized that a number of people in Champa Village are still very poor – and motivated by Buddhist-Socialist morality – they mobilized all the company’s employees to contribute both materials and resources!

This included clothes, shoes, soccer balls, baskets of food and learning materials such as pens and writing books, etc. On the occasion of the handing over the donations to the village Administration – the person in charge of the company pointed out that the outbreak of the Covid-19 disease has created difficulties for the lives of ordinary people. Seeing this difficulty, the company, which has been investing in Laos for more than 10 years, wanted to contribute to the socio-economic (Socialist) development of Laos society!

The people of Laos also expressed recognition of the great achievements of the Cuban people under the resolute leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba over the past 60 years – especially those significant to the development of socio-economic construction! This is the continuation of the progressive results of the Revolution in the face of the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade which the Americans have inflicted over the past six decades!

Appreciating the long-standing unity, friendship and cooperation between the two Communist Parties – the two Socialist States and the ordinary people of the two Lao-Cuban nations – as well as the two Foreign Relations Committees of the Central Party which have been enhanced! Let our two Socialist peoples become ever stronger day-by-day, and contribute significantly to the Revolutionary mission in the two countries of Laos and Cuba! Together, we can complete this mission of peace, friendship and cooperation for regional and international development!
