Iran: Chechen Military Units to Join Islamic Republic if Trump Invades! (31.3.2026)

Blogger’s Note: If this is true – Press TV is not always accurate (like the BBC, CNN, or Sky, etc) – then this would bring Russia in direct conflict with the US. I am not sure it is true as I have read the leader of Chechnya (Ramzan Kadyrov) has made anti-Iran statements – but some say that this is not true. Swings and roundabouts. What I do know is that in the first months of the Russian “liberation” of Donbass the Chechen soldiers led the way against the Western-backed Neo-Nazi forces of Ukraine. I watched hours of footage of Chechen soldiers fighting hand-to-hand with the AFU, the Hitlerite Azov and all the Westerners wearing AFU uniforms. The Chechens were very effective and brave fighters and I will never forget their collective contribution to the anti-fascist cause. The Soviet Red Army, of course, possessed Muslim regiments, as it did Buddhist regiments. ACW (31.3.2026)

Chechen military units have announced their readiness to deploy to Iran to support the Iranian armed forces in the event of a US ground invasion, according to reports.

The forces, loyal to Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Russia’s Chechen Republic, describe the ongoing American-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic of Iran as a religious war.

They describe their possible direct intervention as a jihad – a battle of good versus evil – in defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran against American and allied forces.

The development comes as the unprovoked and illegal US-Israeli war against Iran continues to intensify, with reports that the US forces, on the orders of President Donald Trump, are pressing for a ground offensive after the failure of the air campaign over the past several weeks.

The war was launched on February 28, in the middle of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, with the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, some top-ranking commanders and ordinary civilians, including over 170 schoolchildren in southern Iran’s Minab.
