Translator’s Note: After one of its members decided to kill his own family – Nepal abolished its own royal family (in 2008) – which used to be an absolute monarchy. This is why Nepal (the home of the great and brave [Buddhist] Gurkhas who serve in the British Army come from) is now a Secular, Democratic Republic. And yet in that short time, the Nepalese people have already become the first country on earth to democratically vote into power a “Communist” government (2018-2023)! This Marxist-Leninist-Maoist entity was granted power not through a mass Revolution – where the means of production were forcibly ceased by the workers – but rather via the liberal democratic route of one man – one vote, etc (the means of production were only temporally “leant” to the Communists – and only then for just five-years). In 2023, the Nepalese people voted in the (left-liberal) Nepali Congress Party – and here we are. China (and other Socialist countries) routinely block all US social media (as does modern Russia) – on the grounds that the US bourgeois ideology of neo-liberalism penetrates into the minds of the youth via the internet – and corrosively alters attitudes.
Loyal citizens are turned into servants of an exploitative, foreign power, and entire regimes collapse from within. The idea is that the US replicates its culture either through military bombs or post-bombs – with the latter far cheaper to deploy. China has never allowed US social media – and never will – but Nepal cannot yet produce its own internet technology, and herein lies the problem. Fascist India (which is pro-US and quite happy to let the US dominate its domestic technology market) will not help Nepal – and yet simultaneously will not allow China to assist Nepal. People are rioting, yes, but what will be the end game? Will Nepal turn into another Costa Rica – a poverty-stricken place which sees White US men travel there to sexually abuse children? Why don’t these people protest for better living standards and employment rights? Why waste their lives for the fascist Trump and the corrupt system he represents? ACW (9.9.2025)
UPDATE: Within the last few hours – the Nepalese government has reversed its internet ban – the US is now freely entering every house (and young mind) in the country. Was the US behind this violence – just as it was behind the Hong Kong troubles of 2020? This type of soft-power is far easier to exercise as it bypasses all the established political protocols that prevent one country interfering in the internal workings of another. What is interesting is that death and destruction can still arise – albeit entirely self-inflicted. The neo-imperialist implication is that only the (White) US can save these “non-White” people – who desperately appear to want to be “American” in one way or another (as if that is the answer to anything). It is all scripted, of course, a variant of a deadly stage-play that has been repeated all-over the world over the last one hundred years. Of course, such deadly story telling also happened within the US as the so-called “War Department” was founded 1789 with the dedicated function of wiping-out the Native American presence in the country (their country). Bear in mind that the UK granted the US “Independence” in 1781 – it took just eight-years for the US government to ditch the left-leaning (universal) principles its rebellious British forefathers had fought to establish. US anti-intellectualism is so prolific today, that the average American thinks that the European population of the US was a different “race” to the British they supposedly overthrew! The Nepalese government (the Social Democratic Nepali Congress Party – which took over from the Communist Party of Nepal in 2023) began blocking multiple US social media platforms not registered in the country last week, including Facebook, X, and YouTube. The government stated that US social media users create fake identities to spread hate speech, fake news, and commit fraud (as well as other crimes) on these US platforms – undermining the safety and independence of the country. Access will be restored if these US-owned platforms recognise Nepali State sovereignty and comply Nepal State Law.
On September 8th, 2025, Nepal saw mass protests with tens of thousands assembling near the Parliament building to express dissatisfaction and call for an end to the social media ban. The protests escalated into riots, with protesters breaking through barbed wire, forcing Riot Police to retreat inside the Parliament building to protect the government. Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters attempting to storm the Parliament. Police reported that the riots resulted in 19 deaths and over 100 injuries in Nepal, including 28 police officers among the injured. The government announced curfews in several key areas including the Parliament and the Presidential Palace.
