Media Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon
The joint leadership of the Popular Democratic Party and the Arab Socialist Action Party (Lebanon) together the masses of the Palestinian and Arab people, and the free (Revolutionary) people of the world, mourns the death of the dean of the Palestinian prisoners, the leader and Revolutionary thinker – Comrade Walid Daqqa “Abu Milad”! He was opposed to the Zionist Occupation with the entirety of his being for all of his 38 years in prisons and cells. Indeed, this imprisonment was a capital crime committed against him in and of itself!
This crime is added to the record of the Nazi enemy’s crimes against heroic prisoners and detainees, as well as against the Palestinian people throughout history. This habitual criminality is part of the policy of systematic abuse of prisoners which is part of Zionist colonial thought. After the enemy refused to release him – even at the end of his sentence – and despite his serious illnesses! The Zionists deliberately neglected him medically, so he became a living example of the suffering to which our brave prisoners are exposed in the prisons and cells of the Zionist invaders.
The role of the Captive National Movement in the conflict with the Zionists is complementary to the role of the Military Resistance! Our heroic people are continuously writing new great epics in Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine!
While the Joint Command extends its deepest condolences from the Comrades in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the leadership, cadres, fighters, and from the prisoner movement, and from his struggling wife Sanaa, his daughter Milad, and his entire family, we pledge to them, our people, and our masses to continue the struggle and the Armed National Struggle until the complete liberation of all of Palestine from the river to the sea!
To his memory, glory and eternity, and our loyalty!

المكتب الإعلامي للجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين في لبنان
تنعى القيادة المشتركة للحزب الديمقراطي الشعبي وحزب العمل الإشتراكي العربي-لبنان إلى جماهير شعبنا الفلسطيني والعربي، وإلى أحرار العالم وثواره، عميد الأسرى الفلسطينيين القائد والمفكر الثوري الرفيق وليد دقة “أبو ميلاد” الذي لم يكتفِ الإحتلال الصهيوني بأسره على مدى 38 عاما في سجونه وزنازينه، بل ارتكب جريمة إعدام موصوفة بحقه.
وتضاف هذه الجريمة الى سجل جرائم العدو النازية بحق الأسرى والمعتقلين الأبطال، كما بحق الشعب الفلسطيني على امتداد فلسطين التاريخية، وهذه الجريمة جزء من سياسة التنكيل الممنهج بالاسرى يرجع للفكر الصهيوني الاستعماري، بعد رفض العدو الإفراج عنه، رغم انتهاء محكوميته وإصابته بأمراض خطيرة، وقد تعمد الاحتلال إهماله طبيًا، فكان مثالاً حياً للمعاناة التي يتعرض لها أسرانا البواسل في سجون وزنازين الصهاينة الغزاة.
إن دور الحركة الوطنية الأسيرة في الصراع مع الصهاينة هو دور مكمل للمقاومة العسكرية التي يبدع شعبنا ومقاومته في تسطير الملاحم في غزة والضفة الغربية وكل فلسطين.
وإذ تتقدم القيادة المشتركة بأحر التعازي من الرفاق في الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين، قيادة وكوادر ومقاتلين ومن الحركة الأسيرة، ومن زوجته المناضلة سناء وابنته ميلاد وعموم عائلته، ونعاهدهم وابناء شعبنا وجماهيرنا بالاستمرار بالنضال والكفاح الوطني المسلح حتى التحرير الناجز لكل فلسطين من البحر إلى النهر.
