Email: Tariq Ali and Churchill – Beware Trotskyites Bearing Gifts! (21.12.2023)

Tariq Ali Makes Expedient Use of the Truth To Make His Trotskyite Point!

Tariq Ali is a well-known British Trotskyite who has dedicated his life to attacking the USSR and everything it achieved. Trotskyites represent this attack as ‘Revolution’ – when in fact this policy represents the exact opposite. By removing and de-legitimising the USSR – the way is cleared for the victory of unbridled predatory capitalism. Tariq Ali, of course, writes continuous anti-China comments.

As for his views on Churchill, (and you know my stance), I would say Tariq Ali continues to mislead. He accuses Churchill of blanket-bombing Nazi Germany first – but at the Honeywood Museum in Carshalton there is/was an exhibit covering the Luftwaffe bombing of Croydon Aerodrome which occurred during June, 1940. Apparently, after the war it was proven that the German Pilots were found Not Guilty of War Crimes as they believed they had the correct coordinates for the Aerodrome – when in fact they were slightly out.

This led to some of the bombs inadvertently dropping on nearby housing estates. Churchill used this as a pretext to commence blanket-bombing upon the civilian populations of Nazi Germany. However, Churchill had good reason to take this action as the Luftwaffe had been blanket-bombing civilian populations during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) – and although mistaken in this instance – Churchill’s assumption is militarily sound. This demonstrates how Trotskyites possess NO interest in the truth.

The post-1945 UN, of course, was heavily influenced by Joseph Stalin at its beginning – hence Tariq Ali’s attack upon it. Tariq Ali is actually discussing the pre-existing ‘League of Nations’ – rather than the UN – but this is all part of his ‘entryist’ strategy that misleads as it informs. As a secular Muslim he automatically takes the Palestinian side – which is an expression of the inherently ‘racist’ attitudes that exist within Trotskyism (hence Ali’s anti-China views). The argument against Israeli fascism is one of the asymmetric application of International Law – and should not involve the arbitrary application of ‘race’ or ‘religion’.
