The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that what happened in the city of Khan Yunis – South of the Gaza Strip – yesterday evening and at dawn today, amounts to a Zionist “Holocaust” in every sense of the word! In this regard, a “Green Light” by the US – aided and abetted by American planning! This cooperation coinciding with a Zionist blanket-bombing campaign that affected all areas of the Gaza Strip!
The PFLP added that the heavy and brutal bombardment (and belts of fire) that targeted the city from all sides – led to a large number of dead and wounded, the majority of whom were children, women and the elderly! The destruction of infrastructure and civilian homes is an attempt by this cowardly and defeated Neo-Nazi enemy to commit more massacres and kill the largest possible number of defenceless people! Due to the valiant Resistance in North Gaza – the Neo-Nazi Zionists switched their focus to South Gaza!
The PFLP concluded its statement by stressing that the Resistance in the South Gaza Strip is valiantly confronting the enemy’s attempts to advance on several fronts, and is engaged in fierce clashes with it! The Palestinian Resistance stands ready to destroy the US-provided armoured vehicles and finish off its soldiers! Just as is happening in the north of Gaza – so is it happening in the South of Gaza! Stressing that Khan Yunis is steadfast! Every place in the Gaza Strip will be an inferno, burning the Zionist soldiers and destroying the illusions of the negligent accomplices and conspirators!

أكدت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أن ما تعرضت له مدينة خان يونس، جنوب قطاع غزة، مساء أمس وفجر اليوم، هو محرقة صهيونية بكل ما تحمله الكلمة من معنى، بضوء أخضر وتخطيط أمريكي مباشر، تزامناً مع قصف صهيوني طال مناطق القطاع كافة.
وأضافت الجبهة، إن القصف الوحشي الكثيف والأحزمة النارية التي استهدفت المدينة من جميع الجهات، وأدت إلى عدد كبير من الشهداء والمصابين غالبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء والشيوخ، وتدمير البنية التحتية ومنازل المواطنين محاولة من هذا العدو الجبان والمهزوم لارتكاب مزيد من المجازر، وقتل أكبر عدد ممكن من أبناء شعبنا، متوهماً أنه يستطيع تحقيق أي انجاز في ضوء فشله الذريع في تحقيق أي انجاز بالشمال.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها مؤكدةً أن المقاومة في جنوب قطاع غزة تتصدى بكل بسالة لمحاولات العدو التقدم في عدة محاور في الجنوب، وتخوض اشتباكات ضارية معه، وهي جاهزة لتدمير مدرعاته و الإجهاز على من فيها من جنود كما يحدث في الشمال وغزة، مشددة بأن خان يونس الصمود، وكل مكان في القطاع سيكون جحيماً يحرق الجنود الصهاينة، ويفشل أوهام كل المتخاذلين والمتواطئين والمتآمرين.
