The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the death of 13,000 Palestinians and the displacement of 1.7 million since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023.
The Agency stated, in a Report issued today, (Tuesday), that 13,000 Palestinians were martyred – 75% of whom were children, women and the elderly – whilst 1.7 million were displaced in (from different areas of the Gaza Strip) since last October 7th.
The UN Report explained that “As of November 19th (the day before yesterday), about 930,000 displaced people live in 156 UNRWA facilities in all five Governorates of the Gaza Strip – including the North.”
The UN Report confirmed “Another 770,000 displaced people live in 99 facilities in the Central, Khan Yunis, and Rafah Governorates.”
The International Organization explained that “About 160,000 displaced people were living in 57 UNRWA Schools in the Northern Gaza Strip until October 12th – before (illegal) Evacuation Orders were issued by the Israeli (Zionist) Authorities.”
The UN Report noted that UN Rescue Workers “Cannot reach these shelters to provide assistance or protect the displaced,” and that the UN “Does not possess any information about the needs and condition of these vulnerable people.”

أعلنت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين “أونروا”، استشهاد 13 ألف فلسطيني ونزوح 1.7 مليون منذ بدء الحرب الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة في 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي.
وقالت الوكالة، في تقرير أصدرته اليوم الثلاثاء، إنه استشهد 13 ألف فلسطيني، 75% منهم من الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن، ونزح 1.7 مليون في مناطق مختلفة بقطاع غزة، منذ 7 أكتوبر الماضي.
وأوضح التقرير أنه “حتى 19 نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الجاري (أمس الأول) يسكن نحو 930 ألف نازح في 156 منشأة تابعة لأونروا بجميع محافظات قطاع غزة الخمس، بما في ذلك الشمال”.
كذلك “يعيش 770 ألف نازح آخرين في 99 منشأة في مناطق (محافظات) الوسطى وخانيونس ورفح”.
وأوضحت المنظمة الدولية أنّ “نحو 160 ألف نازح كانوا يعيشون في 57 مدرسة تابعة لأونروا شماليّ القطاع حتى 12 أكتوبر، قبل صدور أوامر الإخلاء من قبل السلطات الإسرائيلية”.
وأشارت إلى أنها “لا تستطيع الوصول إلى تلك الملاجئ لتقديم المساعدة أو حماية النازحين”، كذلك فإنها “لا تملك معلومات عن احتياجاتهم وأوضاعهم”.
