The Palestinian Popular Women’s Committees – in the Nahr al-Bared Camp -organized a “Stand in Solidarity” with our people in Gaza! This was achieved in the presence of the Head of the Women’s Committees in Lebanon – Imtiaz Hallaq – and a number of other important women and their companions in the Women’s Committees operating in Sector A. A speech given by the Women’s Committees was given by Manal Abdel Rahim – a member of the Women’s Committees area in Al-Bared – saluted the people of Gaza for their legendary steadfastness, endurance, determination and will-power in the face of the Zionist military war machine! This is the case despite the massacres and genocide of our people, indicating that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood is only the beginning of liberation and the establishment of the Palestinian State, with Jerusalem as its capital, and that victory is inevitably coming!
For its part, the Nahr al-Bared Prisoners’ Committee organized a Solidarity Symposium with Secretary-General Ahmed Saadat and the prisoners in Zionist prisons, in the presence of a number of women and residents of the neighbourhood. The head of the Nahr al-Bared Prisoners’ Committee – Souad Abdel-Al – also spoke calling upon international organizations to carry out their duty towards the prisoners. She praised the struggle and sacrifices of the prisoners and our Palestinian people in Gaza

نظمت لجان المرأة الشعبية الفلسطينية في مخيم نهر البارد، وقفة تضامنية مع أهلنا في غزة، بحضور مسؤولة لجان المرأة في لبنان امتياز حلاق، وعدد من النساء والرفيقات في لجان المرأة، وذلك في قطاع( أ )، وقد ألقت كلمة لجان المرأة منال عبد الرحيم عضو منطقة لجان المرأة في البارد، وجهت التحية لأهل غزة، وللصمود الاسطوري والثبات والعزيمة والإرادة أمام آلة الحرب العسكرية الصهيونية بالرغم من المجازر والإبادة الجماعية لشعبنا، مشرة إلى أن معركة طوفان الأقصى ماهي إلا بداية للتحرير، وإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية، وعاصمتها القدس، وإن النصر آت لامحالة.
من جهتها نظمت لجنة الأسرى في نهر البارد، ندوة تضامنية مع الأمين العام أحمد سعدات، والأسرى في السجون الصهيونية، بحضور عدد من النسوة وأهالي الحي، وقد تحدثت فيها مسؤولة لجنة الأسرى في نهر البارد سعاد عبد العال، طالبت المنظمات الدولية القيام بواجبها تجاه الأسرى، وأشادت بنضال وتضحيات الأسرى وشعبنا الفلسطيني في غزة
