The latest massacre committed by the Israeli Occupation against the wounded, sick and displaced deliberately targetted the (Christian) Baptist Hospital in Central Gaza! This type of Neo-Nazi atrocity is not new as the Zionists threatened to attack the hospital a only few days before doing so. This is confirmed by the Palestinians of the Ain al-Hilweh Camp in the Lebanese city of Sidon, hundreds of whom, upon learning of the news of the massacre, joined gatherings that went to the American Embassy in the Awkar area – where the Americans fired tear-gas rounds at them!
Yasser Ali, a member of the General Secretariat of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed: “The Israeli Occupation commits a massacre in every war, and we expected that in the current war, but we did not think that it would target a hospital belonging to a church. It is a massacre against humanity, against religions, against civilians, the displaced and against the sick. This is an unparalleled crime! The Israeli Army previously committed several massacres in Lebanon and its Camps, destroyed the Ain al-Hilweh Camp, burned Beirut, and slaughtered people in the Sabra and Shatila Camps with illegal (phosphorous) weaponry supplied by the US. The Zionists refused to provide doctors and nurses to Akka Hospital and Gaza Hospital in Sabra, Beirut.”
He continued: “This is what a State that was founded on massacres has continued, starting from Deir Yassin all the way up to the Baptist Hospital, and these massacres will not stop before this State disappears! It is true that we are losing martyrs, but these massacres have unleashed an angry generation that will take up the banner with awareness of the necessity of adhering to Palestinian Rights and freedoms. They will endure in the struggle! Our cause is just, and the Occupation will not be able to erase our Rights and steal our land as long as generations continue to hand over the true and just flag and narrative of Resistance!”
Nihaya Qaddoura, who is from the town of Sahmata in Palestine and was born in Lebanon, said to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed: “The Baptist Hospital massacre is an indescribable shock. This fascist enemy routinely commits massacres, including in Deir Yassin, Hula, Sabra and in Qana, but as for what happened in the Baptist Hospital, it is an unspeakable crime! There was an unbearable torrent of blood, and an incredible crime unparalleled in history, but this is the true face of the Zionist fascist enemy, the shepherd of doom and the ally and facilitator of the Great Satan, the United States, which is complicit with the Occupation and is holding its hand. Nihaya Qaddoura continued: “We see that empty statements of condemnation are no longer enough for our people, and today the Islamic and Arab world and international institutions must protect the people of Gaza!”
Ahed Bahar, who lives in the Shatila Camp in Beirut, says: “The massacre at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza is a great shock to us, especially since our Palestinian people in Gaza have been witnessing massacres against them since October 7th, 2023. The enemy has been repeating the massacres since it Occupied our land, and for about a month we have been remembering the Sabra and Shatila Massacre in 1982. The Zionist entity was born floating upon Palestinian blood, and the New Baptist Hospital Massacre prompted people to take to the streets to express their feelings about this painful Neo-Nazi crime. This enemy, despite its arrogance, denies the crimes in which it uses American weapons. I personally witnessed this heinous crime as it occurred. A videotape exists of children playing in the hospital just before the Zionist enemy killed them.”
Abdul Karim Al-Ahmad, who lives in Ain Al-Hilweh Camp, told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed: “No one can comprehend the crime committed by the Zionist enemy in Al-Baptist Hospital. Our bodies shake at the brutal inhumane targeting in which the remains of the victims were mixed with each other. These remains are scandalous evidence of the entity’s fascism and Neo-Nazism, and its pursuit of killing innocent people in order to remain in existence. In the face of this inhumane and brutal act, we took to the streets without any invitation because we felt the necessity of denouncing this criminal act, and all participants in the march expressed their anger at the criminal act, which reminded us once again of all the massacres committed by the Zionist gangs. Zionism since it began evacuating our Palestinian people in 1948, including the massacres of Deir Yassin, Qar Qasim, Qana and Bahr al-Baqar when schools in Egypt were bombed.”
He stressed that “The occupying Zionist entity was born through the shedding of innocent blood, and we are not surprised that the international community – which is premised upon terrorism – calls for democracy and human rights, but remains silent and then forgets these aspirations when it acts, so that all these principles become nothing but dried ink on dead paper. We call on peace-loving countries to make every effort to demand that the international community – and the so-called United Nations – put pressure on this Zionist entity to stop its criminal practices against our people! We also appeal to the free peoples of the world who took to the streets to denounce aggression and heinous crimes, and also the Arab peoples who must take to the streets and expel the Ambassadors of the United States, and demonstrate against the norms of this corrupt society! The unjust international community (that supports the Zionist entity) is committing its terrorist acts through the actions of the Jewish fascists! Free peoples must put pressure on the Zionist entity and its aides in the United States and the international community, and even some of the weakened and surrendered Arab countries – to stop the Zionist aggression against our people!”

أهالي المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان ينددون بمجزرة غزة

ليست المجزرة التي ارتكبها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في حق جرحى ومرضى ونازحين من خلال استهدافه المستشفى المعمداني وسط غزة، أمراً جديداً عليه بعدما كان هدد بضرب المستشفى قبل أيام. هذا ما يؤكده فلسطينيو مخيم عين الحلوة في مدينة صيدا اللبنانية الذين انضم مئات منهم، فور علمهم بخبر المجزرة، إلى تجمعات انطلقت إلى السفارة الأميركية في منطقة عوكر، حيث واجهوا إطلاق قنابل الغاز عليهم.
يقول عضو الأمانة العامة في المؤتمر الشعبي لفلسطينيي الخارج ياسر علي لـ”العربي الجديد”: “يرتكب الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مجزرة في كل حرب، وتوقعنا ذلك في الحرب الحالية لكننا لم نعتقد بأنها ستستهدف مستشفى تابع لكنيسة. إنها مجزرة ضد الإنسانية، ضد الأديان، ضد المدنيين النازحين، ضد المرضى. إجرام لا مثيل له. ارتكب الجيش الإسرائيلي سابقاً مجازر عدة في لبنان ومخيماته، ودمّر مخيم عين الحلوة، وحرق بيروت وذبح الناس في مخيمي صبرا وشاتيلا بالسلاح الأبيض، ولم يوفروا أطباء وممرضات مستشفى عكا، ومستشفى غزة في صبرا ببيروت”.
يتابع: “هذا ما دأبت عليه دولة قامت على المجازر بدءاً من دير ياسين إلى المستشفى المعمداني، ولن تتوقف هذه المجازر قبل أن تزول هذه الدولة. صحيح أننا نخسر شهداء، لكن هذه المجازر أطلقت جيلاً غاضباً يتسلم الراية بوعي بضرورة التمسك بالحقوق والثوابت الفلسطينية. ستبقى قضيتنا حيّة، ولن يستطيع الاحتلال طمس حقوقنا وسرقة بلادنا طالما تواصل الأجيال تسلم الراية والرواية الحقيقية والمحقّة”.
وقالت مسؤولة التمريض في مستشفى “النداء الإنساني” بمخيم عين الحلوة، نهاية قدورة المتحدرة من بلدة سحماتة بفلسطين والمولودة في لبنان لـ”العربي الجديد”: “مجزرة المستشفى المعمداني صدمة لا يمكن وصفها. اعتاد هذا العدو على ارتكاب مجازر بينها في دير ياسين وحولا وصبرا وقانا، أما ما حصل في المستشفى المعمداني فجريمة لا توصف. حصل شلال دماء لا يتحمله عقل، وجريمة لا تصدق لا مثيل لها في التاريخ، لكن هذا الوجه الحقيقي للعدو الصهيوني والراعي والشيطان الأكبر الولايات المتحدة المتواطئة مع الاحتلال والتي تشدّ على يده”.
تتابع: “نرى أن كل بيانات الاستنكار لم تعد تكفي شعبنا، ويجب اليوم أن يحمي العالم الإسلامي والعربي والمؤسسات الدولية أهل غزة”.
ويقول عاهد بهار الذي يقيم في مخيم شاتيلا ببيروت: “مجزرة المستشفى المعمداني في غزة صدمة كبيرة لنا، خاصة أن شعبنا الفلسطيني في غزة يشهد مجازر بحقه منذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الجاري. يكرر العدو المجازر منذ أن احتل أرضنا، ومنذ شهر تقريباً كنا نتذكر مجزرة صبرا وشاتيلا عام 1982. الكيان الصهيوني نشأ على الدم الفلسطيني، ودفعت مجزرة المستشفى المعمداني الجديدة الناس إلى الخروج إلى الشوارع للتعبير عن مشاعرهم عن المجزرة الأليمة. وهذا العدو ينكر رغم غطرسته الجرائم التي يستخدم فيها أسلحة أميركية. وأنا شخصياً شاهدت قبل حدوث هذه الجريمة النكراء شريط فيديو لأطفال كانوا يلعبون في المستشفى قبل أن يقتلهم العدو الصهيوني”.
ويقول عبد الكريم الأحمد الذي يقيم في مخيم عين الحلوة لـ”العربي الجديد”: “لا يستطيع أن يستوعب أي شخص الجريمة التي ارتكبها العدو الصهيوني في مستشفى المعمداني. تهتز الأبدان للاستهداف اللاإنساني الوحشي الذي اختلطت فيه أشلاء الضحايا بعضها ببعض. وهذه الأشلاء دليل فاضح على فاشية الكيان ونازيته، وسعيه إلى قتل الأبرياء كي يبقى موجوداً. وأمام هذا الفعل اللاإنساني والوحشي نزلنا إلى الشوارع من دون أي دعوة لأننا شعرنا بضرورة التنديد بهذا العمل الإجرامي، وعبّر جميع المشاركين في المسيرة عن غضبهم من العمل الإجرامي الذي ذكرنا مجدداً بكل المجازر التي ارتكبتها العصابات الصهيونية منذ أن بدأت بإجلاء شعبنا الفلسطيني عام الـ 1948، وبينها مجازر دير ياسين وكقر قاسم وقانا، وبحر البقر عندما قصفت المدارس في مصر”.
ويشدد على أن “كيان الاحتلال نشأ على إراقة دماء الأبرياء، ونحن لا نستغرب أن يسكت المجتمع الدولي القائم على الإرهاب، والذي ينادي بالديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، ثم ينساها في أفعاله فتصبح كل هذه المبادئ حبراً على ورق. ونحن ندعو الدول المحبة للسلام إلى أن تبذل كل جهدها لمطالبة المجتمع الدولي وما يسمى بالأمم المتحدة بالضغط على هذا الكيان لوقف ممارساته الإجرامية بحق شعبنا، كما نناشد الشعوب الحرة في العالم التي نزلت الى الشوارع التنديد بالعدوان وبالجرائم البشعة، وأيضاً الشعوب العربية التي يجب أن تنزل إلى الشوارع وتطرد سفراء الولايات المتحدة، وتتظاهر ضد المجتمع الدولي غير العادل الذي يدعم الكيان الصهيوني في ارتكاب أعماله الإرهابية. يجب على الشعوب الحرة أن تضغط على الكيان الصهيوني وأعوانه من الولايات المتحدة والمجتمع الدولي، وحتى بعض الدول العربية المهترئة المستسلمة، لوقف العدوان على شعبنا”.
