On the occasion of his official visit to Laos People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) between October 2nd-4th, 2023 – on the morning of October 3rd – His Highness Somdek Suntan Haji Hassanan Bongei of Brunei Darussalam (together with a high-ranking delegation consisting of Mr. Selimxay Kormasit the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs) laid a wreath in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior (Red Star) situated in the capital city of Vientiane.
Laying a wreath at this time, the delegation paid tribute to the memory of the Laotian Marxist-Leninist Martyrs – the Heroes who sacrificed their lives (and shed their blood) for the Revolutionary Cause! These brave Laotian people fought as bravely as possible (despite the terrible conditions) – under the leadership of the Laotian People’s Revolutionary Party – until through their sacrifice were able to win and declare Independence in the name of the People – establishing the Laotian People’s Democratic Republic on December 2nd, 1975!

ການວາງພວງມາລາໃນຄັ້ງນີ້, ເພື່ອສະແດງຄວາມໄວ້ອາໄລ ເຖິງດວງວິນຍານຂອງບັນດາ ນັກຮົມນິລະນາມ, ວິລະຊົນ ຜູ້ທີ່ເສຍສະລະຊີວິດ, ເລືອດເນື້ອ ເພື່ອພາລະກິດປະຕິວັດ ຢ່າງອົງອາດກ້າຫານ ພາຍໃຕ້ການນຳພາ-ຊີ້ນຳ ຂອງພັກປະຊາຊົນ ປະຕິວັດລາວ ຈົນສາມາດຍາດໄດ້ໄຊຊະນະ ແລະ ປະກາດເອກະລາດ, ສະຖາປະນາເປັນ ສາທາລະນະລັດ ປະຊາທິປະໄຕ ປະຊາຊົນລາວ ໃນວັນທີ 2 ທັນວາ 1975.
