DPRK: Korean Central News Agency Final Investigative Report – Black US Soldier “Travis King (트래비스 킹에)” – “Illegally” Entered Sovereign Territory! (28.9.2023)

Translator’s Note: Reading between the lines – it would appear that there is a “doubt” about the true motivation behind the actions of Travis King. The narrative seems to be that Travis King is a US Operative who ‘volunteered’ to enter DPRK territory for ‘spying’ activities. His cover-story is that he is a “disgruntled” Black American (mirroring the “Black Lives Matter” agitation) – despite the fact that he has appeared to navigate the US military system with no apparent problem whatsoever. Indeed, far from being a “victim” of US racism – Travis King decided to “prove” his loyalty to the US system from which he emerged – by “infiltrating” DPRK territory and reporting from within the country. As the US encourages a continuous narrative of lies and disinformation regarding North Korea – it is probably the case that US Officials can nolonger distinguish between fact and fiction – and requires “a man on the inside” so-to-speak. On July 18th, 2023 the investigation concerning Travis King – an African-American soldier serving in the US Army – was completed. Travis King was formally “Detained” by DPRK Authorities after “illegally” entering the territory of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea through the “Panmunjom Joint Security Area”. Travis King was “out of uniform” at the time of the “invasion” of the DPRK and did not state that he was officially a) ‘defecting’ – or b) requesting “Political Asylum”.

According to an investigation by the relevant agency of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Travis King confessed that he “illegally” trespassed into the territory of the “DPRK”. When asked “why?” he carried-out this action – Travis King stated that US society is “unequal” and premised upon “discrimination”. After experiencing continuous inhumane abuse and racial prejudice within the US Army and disillusionment with American society in general – Travis King claims he decided to take the action he did.

The relevant agency of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, after considering all the details, decided to “Deport” Travis King – as he is a “Serving” American soldier who illegally entered the territory of the DPRK (for “Reasons Unknown”) – in accordance with the laws of the DPRK.

불법침입한 미군병사 트래비스 킹에 대한 최종조사결과와 관련한 조선중앙통신사 보도

지난 7월 18일 판문점공동경비구역에서 조선민주주의인민공화국 령내에로 불법침입하였다가 억류된 미군병사 트래비스 킹에 대한 조사가 끝났다.

조선민주주의인민공화국 해당 기관에서 조사한데 의하면 트래비스 킹은 미군내에서의 비인간적인 학대와 인종차별에 대한 반감,불평등한 미국사회에 대한 환멸로부터 공화국령내에 불법침입하였다고 자백하였다.

조선민주주의인민공화국 해당 기관에서는 공화국령내에 불법침입한 미군병사 트래비스 킹을 공화국법에 따라 추방하기로 결정하였다.
