Monument to Martyrs of Overseas Military Operations Draws Endless Stream of Visitors

DPRK: Young & Old Respectfully Visit Memorial Museum of Combat Feats of Overseas Military Operations! (6.5.2026)

The images of the dedicated soldiers so brave on the hard-fought battlefields silently dwelt in their individual photos on display but it seems that the cries they let out at their last moments throwing themselves into the enemy pillboxes and committing suicide with their last bullets and grenades still resound as an echo of eternal life, moving all the visitors, young or old, to tears.

The visitors feel great emotion surging inside them, seeing the undying pictures showing what the heroes wished and desired at their last moments and realizing how they laid down their lives to save their sacred honour as soldiers of the Korean People’s Army, turning their love for their beloved parents, wives and children into their hardened will to annihilate the enemy.

Going around the outdoor captured weaponry exhibition area, they recollect with great pride the feats of the warriors who demonstrated the ideological and spiritual superiority and invincible mettle of the Korean People’s Army by inflicting merciless death on the aggressors on alien battlefields by dint of Korean-style tactics.

DPRK - Kim Ju Ae Tank 2026

DPRK: Tank-Girl – “Kim Ju Ae” – Future Leader of North Korea? (21.3.2026)

DPRK leader Kim Jong-un and his daughter oversaw a live-fire exercise at Pyongyang Training Base No. 60 on Thursday, demonstrating the country’s newest main battle tanks and coordinated infantry-tank drills.

Kim Ju-ae has recently become a constant presence at her father’s side, emerging as an increasingly central public figure in DPRK politics.

International media and South Korean intelligence have pointed to the teenage daughter as a possible successor to the country’s leadership.

Kim Ju-ae is the only one of Kim Jong-un’s reported three children to have been publicly identified. Pyongyang has not confirmed any succession claims.

China: Crackdown Intensifies on Misuse of Personal Data! (25.1.2026)

I have been informed the ban is not “blanket” – but rather involves 16 social media sites that are designed for use by adults only. As under-16s should not be on these sites – would a ban matter? The point is that (far-right) White nationalists use adult social media sites to entrap and groom young people – and initiate these unsuspecting minors into Neo-Nazi and neo-fascist propaganda. By banning minors from these adult sites would remove a possible source of recruitment for the far-right. Just as long as our youth is able to still use the net in an appropriate manner – than curbs might not be a bad thing. Even in Socialist China the threat from online criminality – sometimes from outside of China – has been dealt a blow. Twenty-five to thirty years ago – the internet was a free space for sharing – today it has been fully colonised by the capitalists and this has brought an entirely new raft of problems (anarchism was the only problem in 2000 – but that was generally free). Last Thursday – around 200 teenage school-children in Sutton had some kind of tiktok event in Sutton town centre – which initiated a police response and some violence.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's Speech at Conference in Celebration of 80th Anniversary of Founding of Socialist Patriotic Youth League

DPRK: Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s Speech at Conference in Celebration of 80th Anniversary of Founding of Socialist Patriotic Youth League! (19.1.2026)

In the 1950s, the members of the democratic youth league defended their country in the flames of the war, and the Chollima movement pioneers rehabilitated this land on the debris of the war; in the grim period when the destiny of socialism was at stake, your parents’ generation defended their country, their social system. In this way, all the generations of our Republic have left behind legendary tales and structures, signs of their exploits, which are symbolic of their youth and which are named after their generations.

Shining on all these achievements are the feats performed by the youth league in implanting in the young people the sense of duty and obligation as befits the successors to the revolution and in firmly maintaining the tradition of purity, patriotism and loyalty of the youth movement of Korea.

China: Xi Meets Taoiseach of Eire – Micheal Martin! (6.1.2026)

Both China and Ireland cherish peace, embrace openness and inclusiveness, and strive for self-reliance and progress, Xi said, adding that the Chinese and Irish people won national independence and liberation through struggles and are advancing toward modernization through sustained efforts of successive generations.

Since the establishment of the China-Ireland strategic partnership for mutually beneficial cooperation in 2012, bilateral trade volume has quadrupled, with a balanced development in mutual investment, he noted.

Xi said the two countries should maintain friendly exchanges at multiple levels and across diverse fields, continuously enhance communication and mutual understanding, accommodate each other’s core interests and major concerns, consolidate political mutual trust, and solidify the political foundation of bilateral relations.

In Pagliara dei Marsi, an ancient rural village on the slopes of Mount Girifalco in the Abruzzo region of Italy, cats outnumber the inhabitants.

The reasons for this decline are many: job insecurity, mass emigration of young people, lack of support for working mothers and, as in other countries, rising male infertility. Furthermore, an increasing number of people are simply choosing not to have children.

The couple’s situation is unusual. Trabucco, a music teacher, was born in Frascati, near Rome, and worked in the capital for years before deciding to move to the village where her grandfather was born because she had always wanted to raise her family away from the chaos of the city. She met Bussi, a construction worker from the area, a few years ago.
