The Hongmeng Programme, designed to detect the universe’s “infant cries,” consists of 10 satellites forming a low-frequency radio telescope array. We must find ways of overcoming our poverty and transcending the injustices we face on a daily basis – in a civilised and rarefied manner. Being oppressed is an occupational hazard – it need not define your sense of self-worth. As workers, we must be stronger than the suffering that capitalist market forces inflict upon our minds and bodies! As workers – we do not need to resort to venal terrorism!
This is a very sought after place with tables having to be booked weeks in advance. The cuisine is Nepalese (Gurkha) and is exceptionally good. The children enjoyed the rice and poppadoms – and it was a good experience for them. I was shocked to learn that the average price of a burger nowadays is around £8! Can you believe that! Even curries are not that cheap nowadays and so I am grateful we were guests and not hosts. As my mother is bed-bound abs could not attend in person – we ordered a curry to take home for her! We had a wonderful time surrounded by our family.
Nowadays, of course, everybody and their cat listens to audiobooks – but this was certainly not the case then – or for many years afterwards (apps have replace all this industry and mechanisation). He had managed to come through the UK education system and remain totally illiterate (which is a remarkable feat considering the high calibre of State and Private (Public) education in the area – although neuro-diversity was not recognised at the time) – but to his credit he liked Bob Marley (this was interesting as he was White).
