There are ongoing concerns over St Andrew's Healthcare in Northampton

UK: Private Sector Hospital Caught “Beating Patients” – Handed-Over to NHS! (2.7.2026)

Since the collapse of the USSR in 1991, this project has intensified in vigour. Unions have been legally disempowered, and welfare systems dismantled – leading to intense poverty and workers with no rights. To be clear – ALL mainstream political parties (and the fringe far-right versions) – are all wedded to this attack upon the working-class (mass immigration is part of this attack – as it ensures the maintenance of cheap labour and the corroding of workers’ rights). Now, as the NHS collapses, patient care is at an all-time low – so how bad must “private” healthcare be in the UK if its failing institutions are being handed-over to the NHS due to “safety concerns”? The ill, the young, and the elderly are being treated terribly because of the pro-US policies being pursued by the UK Establishment and it makes you wonder what was the point of fighting and winning WWII against German fascism – when US fascism is allowed into the UK via the back-door! It does not matter who we vote for – as there is an agreement (behind the scenes) between all parties to continue the policy regardless of who is in power! Getting out the EU was only half the battle – but the bourgeoisie prevented the election of the far-left government the UK so desperately needed under Jeremy Corbyn (to shut the borders and re-empower the Unions and the workers) – and here we are in this post-Covid mess!

General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith visited east China's Zhejiang Province from Tuesday to Wednesday, touring technology companies and rural communities. During the trip, he said "thank you" on three occasions to express appreciation for China's technological progress and rural revitalization efforts. His first "thank you" came at DEEP Robotics, one of the "Hangzhou Six Little Dragons," a group of emerging tech firms known for innovation. At the company, the world's first industrial‑grade all‑weather humanoid robot, DR02, picked up a plush toy and presented it to Thongloun, who accepted it with a smile and replied, "Thank you."

Kai-Lin Driving the Tractor!

Surrey: US WWII “Jeep”, Garage & Tractors! (30.5.2026)

Structures like this formed the early “Garages” – or “Petrol Stations” in the UK. This version caters to the early car-driver – who were few in number – and the bicycle rider – which were many in number. Bicycles were the main business – with the rich car-drivers forming a lesser number – although potentially lucrative due to the ongoing costs of maintaining a car. Below is a WWII US “Jeep”. The story is that these were originally called “General Purpose” (GP) Vehicles – but that a US shoulder spelt the initials “GP” as “Jeep” – and the designation stuck and is really popular. The US was an ally of the UK and USSR during WWII – and thousands of Jeeps were used during D-Day and afterwards!

Field-Stripping Devices is an Important Skill!

Surrey: Gee & Kai-Lin Field Strip & Assemble a Wooden Stool! (29.5.2026)

Anyway, we visited the “Rural Life Living Museum” (ob May 28th, 2026) – not far from the log-cabin area we were staying at in Tilford (a bourgeois cesspit of wealth). We have visited similar places not far from Sutton, and also in Oxford, Devon, and Cornwall. Many Moons ago, I visited places like this in the Lake District and in Scotland. They are essentially centres of education for school-children – and for adults to reminisce. My childhood (pre-Star Wars) was a very different reality to that which exists today. The working-class pre-1977 were very localised in mentality – with the middle-class attending university and developing a world-wide appreciation. This difference in education always benefits the middle-class who understand more and are able to use this knowledge to keep the workers in their place. Stll, it was a good day out and I will have to author a number of posts to cover it all.

US Delegation "Dumps" Chinese Gifts in Bin!

China: Trump Entourage Commits Act of Racist Disrespect at Airport! (18.5.2026)

Gooding’s original text reads: “It is forbidden to carry any items from China on the plane. We are about to take off for the United States. ” The key to the impact of this incident is not whether it is “right” or wrong, but rather the context in which it occurred. The Chinese side had just completed the send-off ceremony at the airport, designed to grant the highest form of “face” to the US. This involved a 21-Gun Salute, Honour Guards of the Three Services, a Red Carpet, State Banquets, and visits to the Temple of the Divine-Sky. A few minutes after this display of Chinese respect for America, the same group of people (the Americans) stood in front of the boarding-ladder and threw everything given by Chinese-side into the rubbish-bin (one by one). This cruel act of disrespect was performed in-front of the general public and designed to attract the maximum Press coverage – sending a clear message of US disrespect for China.

The Neanderthal dentist who worked on the 59,000-year-old molar had some experience treating cavities.

Russia: Neanderthals Practiced Dentistry – Infected Teeth Drilled 59,000 Years Ago! (17.5.2026)

Neanderthals were highly creative and resourceful. Living throughout Europe and Asia between 400,000 and 40,000 years ago, they made art, intentionally started fires, took care of their sick and injured peers, created a sticky, multipurpose resin and extracted high-calorie grease from animal bones, to name just a few accomplishments.

Now, new research suggests they may also have dabbled in dentistry. Scientists have discovered a 59,000-year-old Neanderthal molar that appears to have been deliberately drilled to treat a cavity, they report in a new paper published in the journal PLOS One.

The discovery pushes back the earliest evidence of dental work by roughly 45,000 years and adds to the growing body of research that Neanderthals were intelligent, capable hominins.
