China: Paralyzed Patient Undergoes First “Invasive Brain-Computer Interface” Surgery at Tongji Medical College! (14.8.2026)

The patient, identified by the pseudonym Hu Damin, has been bedridden for two years following a spinal cord injury. Doctors implanted eight ultraflexible electrodes into her motor cortex. Each electrode, dozens of times thinner than a human hair, can capture neural signals linked to her intention to move.

The BCI system is designed to bypass the damaged spinal cord and translate brain signals into commands for devices such as computer cursors, smartphones and wheelchairs. Through rehabilitation training, doctors hope to help her regain fine motor functions in her upper limbs.

The implanted device is reportedly China’s first high-throughput BCI product capable of recording single-neuron-level signals and has been recognized as an innovative medical device by the National Medical Products Administration.

The Buddha does not contain ALL knowledge as if it were lying dormant in his mind at any given moment (therefore he is not “omniscient” in this sense) but he does say that an enlightened being can direct the mind in any direction he or she wishes (like a net enveloping and collecting all things) throughout the world, and in so doing bring any part of it into his enlightened conscious awareness.  This lasts for as long as concentration is held in that direction and then fails away – remember that the true nature of the mind is “empty” and spacious – so that all phenomena seems to arise and pass away within it.  In fact the Buddha states a long list of abilities and powers he possesses – including the ability for his mind’s awareness to travel to other worlds.  What happened over-time is that through various commentaries and translations, the fact that the Buddha could move his mind’s awareness in any direction (or none) became conflated with the idea that his mind’s awareness was already in every place and at every time.

Indeed, not mentioned in this article is the possibility that as the UAE is given billions of dollars every year to “turn a blind eye” to Israeli atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon, it is highly likely that the British tax-payer has financed the loss of its own material culture. Yes – our hard-earned tax has been “given” to a deluded Islamicist State that supports Israel (a type of “bribe” to look the over way as the piles of dead children mount) so that the UAE can simply “re-fund” some of our British tax in exchange for the ownership of irreplicable (natural) culture. As Starmer and Burnham are hell-bent on supporting the Israeli “Genocide” – why is it the UK government has not seen fit to re-direct a modest section of that pro-Islamicist and pro-Israeli finance package back into the well-being of the British people? Then, my family could just take a leisurely stroll down the road into the British Museum to witness our own evolutionary development – instead of having to book aeroplane tickets to one of the most violent places on earth. As matters stand, I believe the righteous missiles of Iran have been dropping on the UAE as a punishment for that country permitting the US to launch illegal military strikes at Tehran. Our British fossils have survived millions of years so far – but the odds are they may not survive much longer due to the Israeli Zionist terror-strikes! And yes – I hold Israel fully responsible because the UK government, without my knowledge or consent, is giving my tax to Tel Aviv (Jaffa) to commit “Genocide” in Gaza as confirmed by the UN.

Socialist science is superior as it rejects the “inverted” bases of the bourgeois system – whilst dismantling the internal barriers that maintain racism, discrimination, and oppression. Lenin predicted that without much more effort other than simply re-orientating the creative powers inherent within the working-class – the Soviet Union would rapidly develop, catch-up with the West, and soon transcend its capitalist achievements. This is why Lenin advised that all men, women, and children should sit down in the kitchen, discuss ideas designed to make society better, and communicate these ideas to the Authorities. Working-class science emanates-out from below – originating from within the ranks of the proletariat (those who have nothing to sell but their labour – or bodily movement). Yes – workers can become “experts” in scientific endeavours – but they cannot exclude the lumpen proletariat from its creative process. Bourgeois academia, by way of contrast, is elitist and exists as an oppressive “top-down” process. By comparison, working-class science is “up-lifting” and “inspirational” – as can be seen from the contents of the below article!

China: PRC Develops Independent “Lunar Surface Map” for Future Missions! (7.8.2026)

A Chinese research team has completed an updated geologic map of the entire moon featuring a scale of 1:5 million, the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences (IGCAGS), said on Thursday.

Representing a significant scientific iteration from the 2024 version, this map effectively rewrites the moon’s geologic history based on the latest research findings. “The lunar geologic history has indeed been rewritten — more precisely, refined and systematized,” said Yang Zhiming, director of the IGCAGS.

Specifically, a primary achievement of this update is the recalibration of the moon’s ancient geologic eras. The new map systematically updates the age boundaries of the moon’s three ancient geologic periods, namely the Aitkenian, Nectarian and Imbrian periods, drawing on recent advances in international chronology.

China: Recent Tibet Plateau Discovery Confirms Darwin’s 1875 Carnivorous Plant Prediction! (6.8.2026)

Led by Sun Hang’s team at the CAS Kunming Institute of Botany, with collaborators from Wuhan Botanical Garden, Jishou University and the University of Florida, the findings resolve a long-standing question over whether certain Saxifraga species possess true carnivorous traits.

In 1875, Darwin proposed that some species of Saxifraga might be carnivorous because they possess sticky glandular hairs capable of trapping insects. However, evidence supporting the hypothesis had remained unavailable until now.
