If you watch, read, or listen, to Terry Nation’s “Survivors” (1975) – you will see civilisation suddenly collapse due to a type of flu that is spread around the world via jet-liners (international travelling being a relatively new phenomena for the masses at the time). The USSR existed then and the US was engaged in a “Cold War” with it at the time (it turns out that illnesses are no respecter of political ideology). The US laughably believed that the Soviets possessed a “weather-altering machine” and would use it to usher-in a new ice-age. To this end, the US government ordered the British government (something of a US lap-dog at the time) to put-out the false propaganda that an “ice-age” was coming! The BBC made disinforming series about this whilst academics happily conformed despite all the data denying this assertion. This was the fake climate change argument of the day – and individuals lost their career when denying it.

All the ingredients are there for radical left-wing politics – but of course – this collective bargaining power has been used in a very specific manner. In Europe, for instance, an elite top-tier player (before tax) can earn something in the region of £525,000 a week or an annual (yearly) salary of £27,300,000 (even after tax – this is a substantial amount). Obviously, this is not your average worker and the amounts are obscene when you consider a Nurse will yearn around £25,000 a year (after tax). Still, that is the world of predatory capitalism. Amateur (grass-roots) football in England sees eleven men turn-up every weekend and play for 90 minutes – for free. Add to this how expensive ticket prices are to attend Premier League games live (£75 per match on average) or about the same to watch each match on live-TV – and it is clear that the business of football empowers a very small section of the working-class – at the expense of the material well-being of the lumpen-proletariat. I have heard stories told of men out of work spending their dole money not on feeding their families – but instead attending a 90-minute game. The fans fuel the game – but so does business investment – and here in lies the crux of the matter with FIFA. Exploiting the workers to enrich a few workers is just part of the beautiful game. Business does its part as popular players boost brand sales – and brand sales raise the value of popular players. These players are not building time machines, perfecting space travel, or finding a cure for cancer – but are kicking around a ball full of air – as a leisure activity. It has been said that like religion – football is like an opium of the masses – but it does not have to be that way. Ironically, whilst paying for their National Squads, players do not receive their huge domestic salaries (there may be a nominal fee per match – around £2000 – which in the case of England is donated to charity) – although they will obviously benefit from the publicity regarding their ongoing sponsorship deals. It is the profitable association with success and glamour which fuels this lucrative machine. Still, it would appear that Players’ Unions (which have no moral qualms exploiting their fellow working-class) draw the line at openly associating themselves with the murderous regime of Israel and its genocidal policies in Gaza (and elsewhere). good for them. Zionism is racist – just look at how poorly Iran (and other Islamic countries) were treated at the 2026 World Cup!

The Shaolin Temple was founded by visiting Indian monks to China long before Bodhidharma arrived (in 528 CE), Sitting and clearing the mind has always been the primary skill. However, many other temples and spiritual centres also combine seated meditation with “moving” meditation in the form of martial endeavour (it is even hinted at in the Book of Change). Although the Shaolin Temple is famous – it is in no way the only place martial arts are practiced for health and self-defence. Master Xu Yun changed the law in China by integrating the Vinaya Discipline with Chinese Secular Law. Failing to uphold the Vinaya Discipline is tantamount to breaking the law. What is happening to the former Head Monk of Shaolin – Shi Yongxin – is entirely due to the legal reforms that Xu Yun initiated in the early 1950s as a means to protect China from going down the Japanese path of abandoning the upholding of the Vinaya Discipline. US Neo-Imperialism is killing Cuba and these posts are merely documenting this crime as it unfolds. When the USSR collapsed in 19991, many of us switched to financially donating to Cuba in an effort to beat the blockade. Yes – it was basically small amounts – but it all added-up in a time prior to the internet. Of course, an individual cannot take the place of the State – particularly members of the working-class who do not possess very much income and whose resources are always stretched. The capitalist countries outside of the US do not care about Cuba – as they support the destruction of all Socialism. Those Socialist countries that do exist are either developing themselves (and exist in various stages of poverty), or are immersed in the capitalist system (through trade) – so that they cannot provide an alternative to it (as the USSR used to do). Merely complaining every so – often using words – does nothing to prevent the strangle-hold the US has on Cuba. The US is creating poverty – and then blaming Socialism for this poverty. It is an old US trick (after centuries of making immense profit and wealth from African slavery – the North impoverished the South through a sea blockade – claiming “slavery is unprofitable”). Economic terrorism is the American way. As with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq – after years of sanctions killing Iraqi people – the US switched from sanctions to bombs and bullets to speed-up the process. Hodges boarded the ship on her voyage to New York City from Southampton on 10 April 1912, having spent £13 on his second-class ticket.

His letter was postmarked Queenstown, the former name for the Irish port of Cobh, the Titanic’s final stopping point before heading out to the Atlantic.

In his letter, Hodges wrote about the “fine” weather and the atmosphere on the ship.

It said: “Dear Hector, very many thanks for the telegram and for the good wishes. It was a kind and thoughtful act and much appreciated, and you will please convey my thanks to the members of our association.

“Wasn’t it good of the President to come and see me off? I almost believe I could have persuaded him to come along. We have had a fine time up to now.

“You do not see anything of the movement of the ship, but the weather is very fine.”

He also described that everything was “quite different to what you would expect to see at sea” and said he saw about 200 boys marching round and singing, playing dominoes and cards on the top deck.

India is a filthy, backward country – with large swathes of the country still existing within feudalism where no capitalist economy has developed. People still live by traditional culture and barter. Hundreds of years of imperialist oppression has sucked the wealth (natural resources) out of India causing tremendous poverty. The India of sublime philosophy only exists in the very remote areas free of modernity. The minority rich, mimicking their Western counter-parts, live in purpose-built gated communities that possess every luxury – protected by heavily armed private armies. Outside these oasis of Western-style civilisation, the huddled Indian masses exist in shanty towns of cardboard boxes – relieving themselves in the streets, or local water supplies (as there are no sawyers). Poverty and disease are rampant. The rich Indians employ a vicious police and military to prevent the Indian masses from rising-up and triggering a Socialist Revolution. The educated think they are cementing their privilege by voting in the far-right BJP government – which is in the pockets of the US and Israel. The US funds India to be continuously racist toward China and prevent the spread of Socialism across the border! After-all, whilst millions of Indians still starve – the Communist Party of China has eradicated hunger in China and will soon land Cosmonauts on the Moon and Mars! From the details of the article below – it would seem that the privileged bourgeoisie in India are just as decadent as their Western counter-parts. Although this individual was caught in broad daylight raping a dog – paedophilia is rife in BJP India – and nobody cares! This is the nature of religiously inspired fascism!
